The @hawkeyemarchingband collaborated with @forrestheusi (aka @blackforrestham ) on 9/11/26. This is their rendition of “Neck”. As the song progressed, other members of @diplomatsofsolidsound joined in. This performance was put on by @summerofthearts and took place in downtown Iowa City on the eve of the Iowa / Iowa State football game. The MC dedicated the performance to Derek Phillips, the student and HMB member who died tragically after suffering cardiac arrest during the first football game of the year. #difd #drums #diplomatsofsolidsound #iowa #hawkeyemarchingband

It’s that time of year again! We are thrilled to introduce our 146 Co-Band Managers!

•Izzy Sneath is entering her 3rd year with the Hawkeye Marching Band. This season will be her 2nd year as manager.

•Kaleb Penner is entering his 4th year with the Hawkeye Marching Band. Kaleb was a previous member of the Alto Saxophone section and this will be his 1st year as manager.

Your managers have been working so hard this summer to prepare band 146 for great success! From getting instruments cleaned to taking care of 1,670 clothing items for our students, we couldn’t be more excited to meet all 288 of you! Go Hawks!
