Yesterday was my last day working at Fiddlehead/Riveter, and I truly couldn’t be sadder to see this place close down.

I’ve been here since the early days when Riveter first opened, and over the years this place became so much more than just a job. It became home.

I got to help build and run the youth bike programs, coach so many incredible kids, watch them grow on and off their bikes, and hopefully pass along some of the same love for riding that this place gave me. I spent countless hours riding here with some of my best friends, met so many amazing people along the way, and learned more on my bike here than I ever could have imagined.

This place gave me a community, friendships, opportunities, and so many memories. I grew as a rider, a coach, and a person here, and I’m incredibly grateful for every single bit of it.

It’s really hard to put into words what it feels like to say goodbye to a place that has been such a huge part of my life for so many years. I hate that it had to end, but I’ll forever be grateful that I got to call this place home. 🤍

Here’s to all the good times, the people, the rides, and the memories I’ll carry with me forever.

Recovery is going better than expected! ☺️ I’m walking with no assistance now, PT cleared me for light peloton rides, I’m learning some new skills like making sourdough, and I’m in the best company with friends and family ❤️

Happy exec Monday!! This week we’re introducing our amazing Financial Vice President, Izzy Weinberg! Izzy is a Psychology major and Sociology minor from Old Fort, North Carolina! Izzy is such radiant force. She is loved by the whole exec team and her little Stell for being the ultimate hype woman, being a listening ear and always supplying amazing advice! We are so thankful for Izzy and the compassion she brings.
