One game doesn't define us.

We came up short this morning, but the beauty of double elimination is that you earn another opportunity.

Time to make adjustments, reset our mindset, and get back to playing Ladyhawks softball.

At noon, we face a familiar opponent—our own 14U Matlick team, who has been competing up in the 16U division all week here in Colorado. Both teams have battled to get to this point, and now it's a winner-advances, loser-goes-home matchup.

No matter what happens, we're proud of both teams for stepping up to the challenge and for the 14s competing against older competition all week.

Time to leave it all on the field. ❤️💙🦅🥎

💥 Bracket Play Starts Today! 💥

It's win-or-work-harder time as we begin bracket play!

🆚 Athletics Mercado Gonzales
⏰ 8:00 AM MDT
📍 Pawlowski Field #1 – Brighton, CO

🏆 Double Elimination

✅ Win: Back on the field at 10:00 AM against the Ladyhawks Trickle. Nothing like traveling 1200 miles to play against family! 9 team bracket featuring 3 Ladyhawks teams.
⚠️ Loss: We battle again at 12:00 PM with our tournament lives on the line.

Every pitch. Every out. Every inning matters.
Let's compete with heart, play for each other, and leave it all on the field. ❤️💙🦅🥎

From the sunshine and playing in the dirt to dress shoes and dinner. ☀️🥎🥩

After spending the day battling on the softball field, our Ladyhawks traded their cleats for a night out together. Team dinners are about so much more than great food...they're about building relationships, sharing laughs, and creating memories that make us stronger on and off the field.

A huge thank you to the incredible staff at @perrys_steakhouse in Denver for the outstanding hospitality and an absolutely amazing meal. You made our team feel welcome, and we truly appreciate everything you did for us.👌

These moments together are what make this journey so special. ❤️🦅

Memorial Day Murph ❤️🤍💙

Every year, we gather for Murph, a workout that challenges us physically, but more importantly reminds us why we do it.

Monday was about honoring and remembering those who served our country. While no workout can truly capture that sacrifice, Murph gives us an opportunity to pause, reflect, and carry gratitude with us through the challenge.

What started as a workout has become a tradition. The shared suffering, encouragement, laughs, post workout conversations, and memories have become just as meaningful as the workout itself.

Grateful for those who served, those who gave everything, and for the friendships that continue to bring us together each Memorial Day.

Until next year. 🇺🇸
