✨ WELCOME BACK, HECTODERMS! 🩺🐾

And just like that… Week 1 is officially in the books! 📚✅

We kicked off the term with Surgery Orientation 🥼🩺, and things are already getting REAL. This term is bringing new skills, new challenges, and plenty of opportunities to finally put everything we’ve learned into action. We’ve made it this far — now it’s time to crush another one. 💪🏼

And of course, we have to give a HUGE shoutout to our PAWS Facilitators! ❤️💛💚💙 These amazing classmates helped welcome our newest students to the island and showed them the support, community, and SGU spirit that makes this place so special. You guys absolutely ROCK! 🫶🏼🌴

Here’s to a great first week, an even better term, and making plenty of memories along the way.

Term 4… we’re coming for you. 😤🩺🐾

and the journey to becoming a young doctor begins…🥼🩺

shoutout to my fourteen year old self for passing an entrance exam that allowed me to complete a college degree at seventeen before graduating highschool. I applied to university’s to study small animal science with the goal of completing a Bachelors as soon as possible. every university doubting i’d be able to finish in the time span i set for myself and my advisors told me it was unrealistic. fast forward…here i am..right on track..so thank you to my fourteen year old self. if it wasn’t for you. i wouldn’t be here on this island with amazing people excited to start my journey i worked so hard to get accepted into. it wont be easy but its a privilege to have one responsibility in life right now to further my education and get my third degree by twenty four. i’m excited to see what the next few years have in store
