I can honestly say that I would not be the same person that I am today if it wasn't for this amazing team and program. This marks the official end of my 3rd year of track and the end of my high school running career. I would never have believed that at the start of my sophomore year that this group of runners would turn not only into amazing friends but turn into a second family to me. There are not enough thank you's in the world that I could give to every parent, coach, teammate, or friend who showed up for me this season. Being completely healthy has always been an issue for me, but this season was the first one where I felt like a true competitor and athlete, and when excitement started to replace nerves at the starting line. I'm ending my senior season with a PR at almost every meet, something that may as well have been impossible the past 2 years. What I wouldn't do to have 1 more season with you all. In all sincerity, getting the opportunity to run with you guys has been one of the best parts of my high school journey! This is Z signing out! 🫶
