POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I don’t usually share what goes on in our day to day but It’s been a really inspiring couple of weeks!

I’m super thankful to @bumbershoot and @thrift_con for hosting some incredible events that just happened to be back to back.

At the same time we’ve been helping do wardrobe and film background for a movie about Seattle in the mid 90s ( @friendthingmovie ) 💕🍿🎥

Along with cohosting the TC pre party w/ @softgoods.us hand printing our first run of merch and operating the shop regular hours. It’s been very exhausting but in a good way!

I want to give a huge thank you to all our friends who have helped facilitate all these opportunities, love you guys! 💖✨

I’ll be asleep for the next 48hrs but we’ll see you back at the shop our normal hours on Tuesday! 🫶✌️

Since I’m hella good at Instagram 🫣 finally sharing more insight into this project I did 3 months ago for @once__removed 02. Two and a half weeks of constant work. Up late. Up early. Spending time and time and time again in this home, now imminently to be demolished. I’m gonna do it again— the same but different —for my solo show in the backspace of @soilart Sept 3 ✍️
Thank you Xandra Yugto for some of these warm documentations of the installation ☀️ so so good. Plus behind the scenes, co-inhabitants of Once Removed, and important people to this process. Thank you ♾️

…Had 100s of photos so I had some paralysis deciding what to post… maybe I will update my website finally and share it all. 🤷‍♀️

So grateful to be included in ONCE REMOVED 02 alongside a stellar lineup: @benirito & @izzyrinald | @han__simm | @kit__wyatt | @sofiiakmusic | @higb0ne higb0ne | @kinggtingg | @rare.joolz

This exhibition steps entirely outside institutions to embrace transience and impermanence—themes that also anchor my practice. It turns a 1950s West Seattle home awaiting demolition into a fleeting collection of individual stories.

My contribution is harvested remains and eviscerated fragments returned to the domestic nooks they may once have inhabited. As @amandamanitach wrote for The Stranger🙏🏼, this iteration of once removed is “completely illuminated, flooded by the summer sun.”

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to the opening on June 13th! The doors are open again this weekend. Come wander through while the space still exists.

girls! we love them! we love them!

as young girls who grew up in the age of the image, where endless women were at the tips of our fingers and spread across our bedroom walls— we memorize their fashions, their styles, their performances, their glamor. and then we dress-up. we all have our icons, our idols, our women, our girls. everyone has their own“dream closet”, and we are beyond excited to show you ours.

we are proud to announce the debut of ‘girl closet’ on June 13th for @once__removed 02 in one of the bedrooms of a beautiful 1940s home in west seattle. this will be a night you don’t want to miss, so dress-up, get glamorous, and we’ll see you there! dm us for the address 💋

love,

Photography, installation, soft sculpture, and performance art are often used to canonize “girl”. They began working as a pair during their time at Cornish College of the Arts, graduating in 2024. They have shown with Walk Don’t Run and in “Queer as Hill” at Steve Gilbert Studios as well as numerous site-based performance pieces in the Seattle area.
