To the Chapter,
As we transition into our new positions for the 2026 year, I’ve taken time to reflect on my journey in this chapter and to imagine its future in the very capable hands of our new leaders. Each of you was chosen not only for the strengths you already possess, but for the potential within you-potential that will grow as you move through the year ahead. Take a moment now to recognize where you stand, because a year from today, you’ll look back and see just how much you’ve grown. And when that time comes, you’ll be ready to pass your knowledge forward to the next group of women who will follow in your footsteps.
To the Executive Board,
There is nothing more challenging-and nothing more rewarding-than serving as role models for current and future Delta Zetas. Remember that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness; sisterhood is built on supporting one another, especially when things get tough. Mistakes will happen, but what matters is how you learn from them and how you use those lessons to elevate this chapter. Each of you is capable of incredible things, and I cannot wait to see what you accomplish together.
And to Katie,
I have had the honor of watching you grow since the moment you joined DZ. You’ve stepped fearlessly into leadership, taken on every challenge, learned from every misstep, and evolved into a remarkable leader who truly exemplifies our ideals. There is no one more prepared or more deserving of this role, and I leave the future of the Theta Mu Chapter in your hands with complete confidence.
Signing off,
Sara
2025 Theta Mu Chapter President. #dzlam #deltazeta
