Last one I promise…

Truly, there are not enough words in the world to describe my time with Kstate Row. This place has become my home and the boat my sanctuary. The last four years have been remarkably rewarding and have tested me in ways I didn’t know one could be tested. This year especially… I don’t know where I’d be without this team and the girls I’ve met on the journey. They were the reason for all the good memories, laughs, and love I was blessed to experience. But I’m especially thankful for my family supporting me through it all. They encouraged me to fill out that questionnaire four years ago, and then supported me through all the trials. They came to every single race this year (even if it meant missing school) and know I could always hear you cheering. It’ll be weird to not see my people every day, but hallelujah for phones so I can always get updated on the latest life news. My time here will always be cherished, but it’s time for my next adventure. It’s never goodbye, just see you later rowing…

And suddenly what felt like the longest four years of my life was over.

Rowing, you were completely new when I started and still new as I say goodbye. You taught me so much about myself and gave me my closest friends. You humbled me in ways nothing else could. You will be remembered fondly🫶

ANOTHER ONE & LAST ONE🥹🥉

i honestly can’t thank every single person i’ve grown up with on this team more. from my freshman year to now, finishing my last race, every person has had a part in shaping me into the women i am today. rowing is the toughest sport out there. and i find myself in a very unique position. i am grateful for every teammate, coach and especially my family and friends that took a leap of faith to learn about rowing and cheer me on endlessly. i have never met a group of women like those on the K-State Rowing Team and these memories will forever be my favorite part of college. i cannot believe that this is over and if you would’ve told highschool senior kiersten that she would be where i am now, i would absolutely have laughed at you. the lessons learned and the friendships gained will impact me forever. the last picture is our first time EVER out of the cove on tuttle and who knew then i would be walking out of this program with two Big 12 medals. all glory to Him.

i have loved every moment, every minute, every boat, every race, every triumph, every failure. i am so proud.

never say no to hard things, live the life that makes you happy, and love those dearly around you. ❤️ grateful will always be an understatement.
