So proud of our son, Joshua Berry! 2025 OVC Indoor Championships on now on ESPN+. He is still working his way back from being off since December with a wrist injury, so his endurance isn't where he is used to, but he is giving it a go. He's running the 4x400 later today...so hopefully they are in the running for the title (in 2nd place now). 🙏🏽 Go Josh! #GoEIU #ProudParents

Josh's 1st NCAA Indoor Track Meet! We were able to make the short trip into the city for the 2025 Blue Demons Alumni Classic Track Meet. He had a small wrist surgery at the end of last year, and hasn't been able to run yet, so this was great to see him at his 1st event and it be so close to home was a bonus. He felt something on his right hammy, so he slowed down right before the last turn. Hopefully, he is able to work on it and make it to next weekends events. 🙏🏼 Another runner had to pull out, so everyone had to move up a spot. He was the 2nd leg runner today. #ProudParents #GoJosh

WE ARE NOT ALRIGHT.

It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the loss of our family patriarch and Chan's father, Mr. Alexander Curd. He passed away yesterday in the late afternoon with his family by his side. Please pray for our family as this is definitely a hard loss on ALL of us.

He has been battling with a few health issues the last few years, but he has been able to stay mobile while he golfed and went on his scenic walks for most of the year.

He was a devoted family man who always loved on those he kept close to his heart as well as his good friends and coworkers. Our daughter, Cailyn, said "that he is not here, but his spirit is all around us."

We are in the process of healing and making arrangements for his home going services and will make that information known as it becomes more concrete.

We thank those who have prayed for healing and uplifting through visits and calls, as he went into the ICU a little over 2 weeks ago. Those same sentiments are needed at this time as we are still somewhat in shock, as he was always more of a superhero than just a mere mortal, as told by his coworkers and family.

Stay blessed, and remember that although WE ARE NOT ALRIGHT at this time, that through GOD, all things are possible.

Sincerely,

Gessel Berry (Mr. C's son in law)
