The Half Frog Pose, also known as Ardha Bhekasana with @j.__bett 🐸

This is a yoga posture that stretches and opens the front of the body, particularly the thighs, hip flexors, and chest. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to perform the Half Frog Pose:

1. Start by lying on your stomach
2. Place your forearms on the mat, parallel to each other, with your elbows underneath your shoulders.
3. Bend your right knee and bring it out to the side, perpendicular to your body.
4. Slowly start to slide your right hand back toward your right foot. Reach for the inside of your right foot with the same side hand.
5. As you reach back, try to keep your right shoulder relaxed and grounded on the mat.
6. Once you have a good grip on your right foot, gently begin to lift your right foot off the ground. Use your right hand to pull your foot closer to your buttocks.
7. At the same time, press your left forearm into the mat to lift your upper body, creating a gentle backbend.
8. Keep your left leg extended straight behind you and your left foot active.
9. Maintain a steady, deep breath as you hold the pose for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
10. To release the pose, slowly lower your right foot back to the mat and return to the starting position.
11. Repeat the same steps on the other side by bending your left knee and reaching back with your left hand.

Remember to listen to your body and modify the pose as needed. If you experience any pain or discomfort, ease off the stretch or consult a qualified yoga instructor for guidance.

Savasana (Corpse Pose) is much more than a moment's rest at the end of a yoga class.
👁Calms central nervous system, aiding the digestive and immune systems.
👁Promotes spiritual awakening and awareness of higher consciousness.

No-equipment-needed all bodies welcomed.
At the beginning of Saturday’s workshop I asked everyone, including those online, to express in one word how #armbalancing makes them feel.
The responses varied from empowered, strong to light and badass.
