A Stephens, a 2028 OF from Maryland, is one of the biggest names to watch in the entire class. As one of the top 2028 prospects, who is still just 16, he is the only player in the class of 2027 or 2028 with 105+ exit velocity, 80 max bat speed, 90 OF velocity, and a 6.4 or quicker 60 time. Check out the third slide to see a highlight from Prep Baseball Maryland! A deep and well rounded profile, as Stephens brings a combination of power, swing mechanics, speed, and defense rarely seen at this level. Keep on eye on Stephens this fall, will be climbing rankings very quickly.
