The Porsche 992 Sport Classic – 550 horsepower from a 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six, manual transmission, limited to just 1,250 units – is more than a car; it's a tribute to the golden era of driving. With its iconic ducktail rear spoiler, retro-style Fuchs wheels, and subtle light blue finish, it stirs emotions that go far beyond pure performance. This machine blends timeless elegance with raw passion – built for those who don’t just drive, but truly feel every moment behind the wheel.

The summit. The absolute peak of Huayra evolution. The Pagani Huayra Epitome.

This is the very first Huayra in the world with a manual gearbox. A gated, 7-speed manual, designed and built specifically for one customer, with Horacio Pagani’s full blessing. This is a one-of-one masterpiece.

Polished metal gate, a clutch pedal, and a howling V12. It's tactile, mechanical, violent, glorious — the kind of experience that modern hypercars left behind. / @j.b_photography

Tonight’s post features the first Zonda HP Barchetta, built in 2017 as a slightly belated 60th birthday present to Horacio Pagani. This is the first of three cars, and it is the one that resides at the museum as part of his public collection. Its first public appearance was at the 2017 Monterey Car Week, before Dreamride in Connecticut. It was then displayed at the Geneva motor show in 2018, followed by the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Monterey again that same year. In 2019 it attended events in Hong Kong, Italy, France, the USA, Saudi Arabia and the UK, and in 2020 it was in Denmark at Pagani Copenhagen. It was on display in Modena in 2023 as part of the Pagani 25th anniversary, and since then it has been kept at the factory, occasionally on display.
It is finished in Blu Tricolore Carbon Fibre, with a Fangio 1954 Mercedes W196 tartan interior, as a homage to the famous racer who helped Horacio begin his automotive journey. This is mixed with white leather, creating a strong contrast with the blue exterior. It has a manual transmission, and an iconic feature are the wheel arch covers, originally in black exposed carbon but redone in blue exposed carbon. Another feature harking back to past Zondas are the A pillar wing mirror mounts (which can be swapped out for the more traditional mounts), and the Blu Francia drivers side wheels, a traditional Pagani colour, with light gold on the passenger side. Still a car I need to catch, but certainly one of the very best Paganis out there.
