Make your posted content 10x better. AI works fast, but fast isnā€™t always good. I asked ChatGPT to generate a promotional graphic for Jaia Studio, and the result looked like almost all AI design work right now. It broke 11 design rules: 1. no clear focal point 2. weak text hierarchy / poor contrast visibility 3. too many competing messages 4. poor scanability for social 5. too many type styles 6. overuse of decorative script 7. too many icons and ornamental elements 8. overloaded composition 9. not enough breathing room 10. too many image crops 11. CTA buried in clutter The issue is not using AI. The issue is using it without understanding what makes design actually work. So when I redesigned it, I did not change the message that much. I changed the spacing. The contrast. The hierarchy. The amount of text. The way your eye moves through the post. Forgettable content that people scroll past is hurting your brand more than helping it. Instead prioritize simplicity, clarity, and sharing 1 core message per post. The busiest weeks are usually the worst time to disappear from marketing. And I say that as someone who has learned it the hard way. For service businesses, people are rarely converting the first time they see your work. They are watching, comparing, and deciding whether they trust you first. That is why I care a lot more about curated content than viral content. The job of content is not just to get attention. It is to answer the questions people already have before they ever book: Who are you? How can you help me? What do you actually do? Why should I trust you? And where do I go if Iā€™m ready? We view thousands of ads and pieces of content a day - so donā€™t be afraid to repeat yourself and post about an event or offer a minimum of 8 times. (thatā€™s the amount of time to talk about it before you are remembered) Are you wanting to grow your business but arenā€™t sure what you need next? If you want help figuring out what kind of support actually makes sense for your business right now, I have a few consult spots open this week. DM me if you want one. #contentplanning #designagency #strategicplan #marketing #socialmediamarketing

Spend a Saturday morning here at Jaia Studio (a design agency for health, wellness, and fitness businesses) This week was busy enough that Saturday turned into catch-up, and honestly Saturdays are one of the best times to do it because there are no client calls, fewer emails, and a lot more room to get through the work that needs real focus. Life at the agency has been especially full this spring. The projects are bigger, more layered, and a lot more design-heavy than they used to be. And Iā€™ve actually really enjoyed that shift because good design has to do a lot more than just look good. It has to support the brand, the strategy, the digital experience, and the marketing that helps the business keep growing after launch. That has been a much bigger part of the work lately, and I think it is one of the biggest ways the studio is changing too. As I start sharing more of the bts of Jaia Studio, what type of content do you want to see more of? Preparing for client meetings, what goes into proposals, or the process behind a custom brand / website project? Comment below! #DesignAgency #BrandDesigner #CreativeStudio #HealthAndWellnessBranding #WebsiteDesigner

REFORMR was never meant to live as just a logo. The real challenge was building a Pilates brand that felt sharper, stronger, and more city-driven than the softer visual language most studios default to. I wanted this direction to feel structured, precise, and a little harder at the edges. ā€ØBuilt for someone who moves fast, trains with intention, and is drawn to discipline over decoration. Thatā€™s where the concept became a full system. Typography, contrast, brutalist references, coffee-shop rhythm, and a black/white/orange palette designed to carry across digital and physical touchpoints without losing its core energy. This is the part of branding I care about most:ā€Øtaking the idea beyond the logo so the brand feels clear, cohesive, and difficult to forget. If your brand feels stronger in your head than it looks in real life, thatā€™s usually a sign itā€™s time to build the system out further. DM me if you need to take your wellness or fitness brand to the next level. Iā€™d love to go on that design journey with you! #PilatesBranding #FitnessBranding #WellnessBranding #BrandStrategy #BrandIdentity

A brand project is so much more than a logo. Lately Iā€™ve been thinking a lot about what happens after the brand project is done, and I think thatā€™s the real reason I love this work so much. Itā€™s seeing past clients host events, celebrate anniversaries, grow their teams, expand their offers, and keep building on something that once only existed as an idea. That is the part that stays with me. A few of my favourite moments of every brand and website project: 01 The moment when founders start dreaming about what is possible for their business, and we start to work together to bring that vision to life 02 The entire creative process, of exploring, seeing how fonts, patterns, and illustrations start to build the visual story 03 Launching a brand and seeing how their customers respond to it (merch sales, events, increase in website sales) 04 Seeing how founders are less hesitant to talk about their business once the visuals match the quality of their work, and how their business grows in the coming months and years after stronger visuals That is the real joy for me as a designer. #BrandStrategy #CustomBranding #WellnessBusiness #CreativeDirection #WebsiteDesign

Brand Strategy Sessions are now live. This is a new monthly support offer for founders who know their business needs attention, but are not totally sure what needs to happen first. Before you invest in a full rebrand or website overhaul, this is the space to work through the parts of the business that need to connect first. ā€ØYour messaging, audience, offers, and business direction. ā€Ø Because branding is so much bigger than the visuals. After working with 40+ businesses, I know how easy it is to get stuck in the middle of it all. You know the business has potential.. & something has to shift. ā€Øā€ØBut the next move still feels blurry, and most people around you do not really understand the weight of those decisions. That is what these sessions are for. Each month, you will: 01 fill out an intake form - to clarify your thoughts 02 meet with me for one focused strategy session - to talk through the biggest challenges 03 leave with a road map - a quick guide of what to focus on If you are building, refining, or trying to make smarter decisions before the bigger branding investment, I would love to support you. Book through the link in bio, or comment STRATEGY and I will send you the link. #BrandStrategy #CustomBranding #WebsiteStrategy #WellnessBranding #CreativeDirection

When people think about branding, they think about logos and visuals. But a lot of the real work starts before any of that. It starts with the strategy behind the brand. The messaging. The audience. The offer. The customer journey. The feeling you want people to have when they land on your business. Because to get the most out of visual branding, there has to be a clear strategy underneath it. That is exactly why Iā€™m launchingĀ Brand Strategy Monthly SessionsĀ on Friday. This is for businesses that know they need help, but are not totally sure what the right next move is yet. The stage BEFORE the full branding or website overhaul. The stage where the business needs more clarity, more intention, and better direction first. If that sounds like where youā€™re at right now, comment FRIDAYĀ and Iā€™ll send you the details first. #BrandStrategy #WellnessBranding #CreativeDirection #FitnessBusiness #SmallBusinessMarketing

When most people think about branding, they think about a logo. But branding goes much deeper than that. It is the strategy behind the business. The messaging. The positioning. The offer. And the way it all connects to the right people. And after working with 30+ health, wellness, and fitness brands, I keep seeing the same pattern: a lot of businesses want the visuals first (and you can still get those visuals) but letā€™s not neglect building a stronger business foundation. Because if the business still feels unclear, a logo, visual direction, and a website will only take you so far. (Your visual branding just echos your current business) I That is exactly why something new is coming on Friday. A new way to support founders in the building phase. The ones refining their offers, messaging, audience, and next move before the bigger brand investment. If you want to be the first to know when it launches, DM me `FRIDAY` #BrandStrategy #WellnessBranding #FitnessBusiness #CreativeDirection #smallbusinessmarketing

April at Jaia Studio wasā€¦ an adventure (In the best way.) This month I brought 2 websites to life, stepped into new projects behind the scenes, and got to see past clients building brands that are now fully living in the real world. Phase one of the @florenciawellness website is done, and there are some really beautiful events coming up from that project. I also wrapped the website build for InKine Fitness, which is coming soon. And one of my favorite parts of the month was getting to attend events hosted by past clients by @flow__by__rada and @lo.koehler That is always such a full-circle moment. Because you work on the branding, the strategy... and then a year later, you get to see what theyā€™ve continued to build with it. That part, will never gets old. Seeing people run their own businesses and follow their dreams is the reason I love this work. Now weā€™re heading into May, and it is already looking very full. On May 1, Iā€™m launching a brand new strategy-first service for business owners who need clarity before branding. And if custom branding or a custom website has been on your mind, I only have 2 client spots left. DM me if you want to claim one! What is one thing your business needs more of right now: clarity, visibility, or conversion? #BrandStrategy #WebDesign #WellnessBranding #BuildInPublic #creativebusiness

I leave my routine for five minutes and suddenly I have 12 new brand ideas. Colour palettes.ļæ½Illustrations.ļæ½Ideas for signs, packaging, fonts.ļæ½A weird little detail I probably wouldā€™ve missed if I was just sitting at my desk trying to force inspiration. Thatā€™s one of my favorite parts of design & branding. There are so many layers of creativity that goes into making an idea come to life. A lot of my best client ideas come from stepping out of my normal routine long enough to actually notice things again. So now that Iā€™m switching from inspiration mode back into work mode here are a few questions I get pretty regularly: O1. Q: Are you taking on clients right now? A: Yes, I have 2 client spots open for May. 02 Q:What does it actually look like to do a project together? A: Itā€™s a step-by-step process where we take your ideas and shape them into a brand that feels clear, intentional, and strong enough to stand out in your market. 03 Q: Do you do website design too? A: Yes, but usually only once the branding is already in place. The website gets so much stronger when the direction is clear from the start. If your business is growing and your brand feels a little behind.. send a DM or book a free 30-minute consultation to see what working together could look like. #BrandDesigner #BrandStrategy #WebsiteDesign #WellnessBranding CreativeProcess
