Every book you love fits on this model 📚

And they're proportioned by Mind, Body, and Soul.

Soul is the child-like creator in all of us 🎨. Legends and Lattes or LOTR are prime examples.

Mind is what makes us think, learn, and grow 🧠. These are your philosophies and classics.

Body is how we feel, whether it be fear, fun, or spice 🌶.

Every book has a dash of each, but tend to dominate two of the three.

The Body/Soul books are your romantacies such as ACOTAR, or power driven fantasy like Red Rising 🐉

The Soul/Mind books are the historical fantasies like Bernard Cornwell, urban fantasy, and your steam/cyberpunk ⚔️

Mind/Body are your true crime books and thrillers. Crime and Punishment being an excellent example of both 🔪

Save this to pick your next mood read 📖

If you're a writer, feel free to save this model to map out your WIP and its comps 🔖

Do you agree with these placements? Where would you put your current read?

PSA: 80% of browsers dont scroll with sound on. Apparently. That's what the common stats say, anyway.

I don't browse with sound at least 😂 The overwhelm of the constantly changing noise means the introverted wee writer is left on the floor by the time I am on my third post!

So just a friendly reminder to spare a thought of us when creating content 😅 Captions really make a difference.

Big thanks to my buddies and sound sympathisers willing to chip in content make an entirely fake feed for this!
In order of appearance:
@author.milliejoy
@j.m.kern
@r.b.holmes
@morgana.is.writing

And yes, that is the same Morgana who wrote the most beautiful, heartfelt post about me yesterday. This is how I return the favour 😂❤️ Friendship!

I have a favor to ask: I have the BEST time putting these together & making groups, BUT I do make it a point to spotlight at least a couple people each week with time sensitive stuff going on. Keeping my ear to the ground, as always, but if you’ve got something you want featured, don’t hesitate to reach out and make sure I don’t miss it. ❤️❤️
