a week ago, i got to stand beside one of my longest and strongest friends, Rick Ro from the Ricker Road, as he embarks on the journey of a lifetime with his greatest asset .. his spicy puerto rican, @frankenbeansss .. they are opposites in many ways, an absolutely beautiful thing .. they fill the parts of each other that would remain empty otherwise. so, SO glad you found each other in this weird little life.

keep him humble, Frankie, & he’ll keep you smiling and laughing until your stomach hurts. love you both a whole dang lot.

I guess I’ll document some of the things from the best summer of my life.

Just days after returning from a fantastic Electric Forest, I hopped on a plane to Colorado to attend @prettylights inaugural Yahn Dawn - a specially curated weekend for the PLF. Honestly think it might have been the best weekend ever. I say that about a lot of things but it’s still true.

I’ve been cooking for months on coming up with the right words for what this weekend meant to me and I still don’t think I have them but let’s just say a festival molded around my favorite band and community in an absolutely gorgeous setting is something I’ll never forget.

I was honored to contribute in a few ways including creating a mix that was played over the Holographic Uplink - a radio station playing 24/7 throughout the festival and online.

In addition, I got to DJ on a stage for the first time at the legendary Cervantes with The Chill Train for the Yahn Dawn after party.

Really really cool stuff for your boy. Can’t wait to return.

Another Pretty Lights festival in the books in what was truly a magical three days in the Colorado mountains. Too many highlights to list. Sunset means another day goes by and I’m still chasing rainbows in the sky 🌈🌤️⛰️🌀
