🏈 FAITH FRIDAY: WHEN YOUR GAME PLAN FALLS APART! 🙏 Ever finish your fantasy football draft convinced you just built a championship team? Then Week 2 hits. Your first-round pick is in a walking boot, and the guy sitting on your bench drops 30 points. 😂 That perfect roster suddenly looks like a group project nobody studied for. Real life can feel a lot like that, too. Maybe you had your whole season mapped out, or you figured rehab would take six weeks and you’re now at week eleven. The plan you were counting on just isn’t happening. 📖 “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.” (Proverbs 16:9, NIV) Solomon isn’t telling us to stop planning. Proverbs teaches the value of hard work and wise decisions. A few verses earlier, he writes, “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans” (Proverbs 16:3, NIV). We make our plans, but God sees what we can’t. Joseph never planned on being betrayed by his brothers or ending up in prison. Yet God worked through those painful circumstances to preserve many lives (Genesis 50:20). 💪 So keep showing up for your rehab sessions. Keep working toward your goals. Bring your plans to God and trust Him with the next step, even when it’s frustrating or the progress feels slow. Jesus gave His life for our sins and rose again. He’s worthy of your trust, even when you can’t see where the road ahead leads. Your game plan may fall apart, but God has never lost control of the season. Faith Friday 📱🔥 📖 “But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in exchange for you. Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” Isaiah 43:1-7 ESV Real talk. If you get hurt, watch how fast the team group chat moves on without you. Coach stops texting. Your highlights stop getting views. It gets easy to believe you only matter when you’re producing. Israel felt forgotten too, and they earned it. They chased other gods and ended up exiled and far from home. Then God opens Isaiah 43 with “But now.” He skips the lecture. He tells them He made them, He bought them back, and He knows their name. He said “when” you go through the water and fire. He never said “if.” Hard seasons will come, and His promise is that you won’t walk through them alone. God says He would trade whole nations for His people. Then Jesus paid even more than that. He gave His life to buy you back (Mark 10:45). You were worth that to Him before you ever posted a PR. Are you stuck in a boot, scrolling through everyone else’s season? You aren’t forgotten. You’re His. Show up to rehab, and hand God your fear while you rebuild. 💪 Faith, Strength, Recovery – Powered by Purpose. 🔥 FAITH FRIDAY | HALLELUJAH ANYWAY! 🙌 The Babylonian army was coming, and the prophet Habakkuk knew it. God had told him his nation was about to be overrun. Habakkuk admits his lips quivered and his knees shook when he heard the news (Habakkuk 3:16). Then, still shaking, he made a decision. 📖 “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. GOD the Lord is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet.” Habakkuk 3:18–19 (NKJV) Right before this, he lists the fig trees, the vines, the fields, and the flocks failing. In a farming nation that meant no food and no paycheck. He chose to praise God anyway. That’s the heart behind Rend Collective’s song “Hallelujah Anyway.” Praise isn’t waiting until the pain stops. And notice what God promised him. Deer’s feet are built to stay steady on rocky cliffs. In PT we train balance on unstable ground for that same reason. 🦌 🏈 Our world is full of anxiety. Athletes lie awake over making the team, letting people down, or whether they can stay locked in for a whole game. Adults are stressed about work, family, and getting back to what they love. In Matthew 6:25–32 Jesus tells us to stop worrying, because our heavenly Father already knows what we need. So here’s a question worth asking this Friday. Are you trusting God with your life while making excuses for the things His Word tells you to change? Real faith takes Jesus seriously, even when our culture pulls the other way. Here’s where our hope comes from. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. Through repentance and faith in Him, you can be forgiven and have eternal life. No scoreboard comes close to that win. 💪 Whatever you’re facing today, keep showing up, do the work in front of you, and hand your worries to the Lord. Hallelujah anyway! 🏃‍♂️ FAITH FRIDAY 🏋️ There are days when your thoughts can get louder than your faith. You start wondering if God sees what you’re dealing with, whether He still cares, or why following Him can feel so difficult when the culture around you seems to be running in the opposite direction. The writer of Psalm 77 understood that struggle. Asaph was hurting, and he didn’t hide it behind religious language. He asked questions that many of us have thought but were afraid to say out loud. 📖 “Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again? Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time? Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion?” Then I thought, “To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand. I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.” Psalm 77:7-11 Asaph didn’t suddenly get an easy life. He chose to stop letting the pain in front of him erase everything he knew about God. He remembered God’s faithfulness. That matters for us today because faith can’t just be something we post about, wear on a shirt, or claim when life is going well. At some point, we have to open God’s Word and let it examine us. There may be attitudes we’ve defended, relationships we know are pulling us away from God, or choices we’ve learned to excuse because everybody around us says they’re normal. The question isn’t whether culture approves. The question is whether what we’re doing agrees with Scripture. And when we discover that it doesn’t, God doesn’t tell us to clean ourselves up and pretend we never failed. He points us to Jesus. Christ went to the cross for sinners and rose again. Forgiveness is real, and so is the call to turn from sin and follow Him. If your faith feels shaky today, remember what God has already done. Open His Word. Be willing to let Him correct you. You may find that the God you thought had forgotten you has been faithful the whole time. ✝️💪 Faith, Strength, Recovery – Powered by Purpose. 💥 4 Med Ball Slam Variations for Athletes Med ball slams are a great way to train power, explosiveness, coordination, and core stability while teaching athletes to generate and transfer force through their entire body. Here are 4 variations to add to your training: 🏋️ Standing Med Ball Slams Great for developing total-body explosive power and learning to rapidly produce force. 🔄 Standing Rotational Slams Add a rotational component to challenge the core while developing the ability to generate and transfer power through the hips and trunk. 🦵 Half-Kneeling Slams Taking away some contribution from the lower body places more emphasis on the core, upper body, and rotational control. 🔥 Tall Kneeling Slams Another great option for training explosive upper-body power while challenging trunk stability and control. For athletes, these variations can help develop the ability to produce force quickly, control movement, and transfer power efficiently, all of which can carry over to sports that require sprinting, jumping, throwing, hitting, and changing direction. #warriorsportspt #ballslams #medballslams #exsplosivenesstraining #altoonapa

🏃‍♂️ FAITH FRIDAY 🏋️ It’s easy to say you believe in God. The harder question is whether your life shows it. Our culture constantly tells us to follow our feelings, define our own truth, and justify whatever makes us happy. But real faith doesn’t ask God to approve the life we’ve already chosen. Real faith trusts Him enough to let His Word correct us. 📖 “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 ESV Hebrews 11 isn’t describing people who simply believed God existed. It describes people who trusted God enough to obey Him when obedience was uncomfortable, unpopular, and costly. Their faith became visible in the way they lived. Think about an athlete who says they trust their coach but ignores the training plan, skips the hard work, and does whatever feels good that day. Eventually, their actions reveal what they really trust. Faith works the same way. God’s Word isn’t something we nod at on Sunday and ignore the rest of the week. So take an honest look at your life. Is there something you’re defending that Scripture tells you to surrender? A relationship? A habit? Pride? Bitterness? What you watch, say, celebrate, or chase? Following Jesus sometimes means admitting, “I’ve been wrong, and God is right.” Christianity isn’t about cleaning yourself up until God accepts you. Jesus Christ died for sinners and rose again so we could be forgiven, made new, and brought near to God. We don’t earn salvation by doing better. We receive it by turning from sin and placing our faith in Christ. Then that faith begins changing how we actually live. Don’t settle for a faith that only exists in your bio, bracelet, or Sunday routine. Seek Jesus. Trust His Word. Let your life show that your faith is real. 🙏 Faith, Strength, Recovery – Powered by Purpose. 📲 Share this with your friends who need the reminder today. #FaithFriday #ChristianAthletes #WarriorSportsPT
