I am SO delighted to share that @stnicholas.perivale is launching our new ‘Community Theology Thursdays’!

This is a monthly community theology gathering, platforming critically aware global majority responses to the gospel, Christian history, theology and ethics.

It is a space to come,
to eat patties, puff puff or pakoras
to listen, learn and process
in community
the earliest issues the church….
and the modern day manifestation within our shared history and faith.

Taking place at 7pm
on the last Thursday of the month…

We are unapologetic
about our welcome to all…
and our centering of the voices,
experiences and concerns
of those communities who were
dehumanised,
displaced and are
systematically disadvantaged.

This year’s series is called
JESUS & RECOMMENDATION 32.
It explores one of most contentious recommendations from the Church Of England’s historical financial investigation’s oversight group and their report that was published earlier this year…

@greenbeltfestival you were a joy. Lots of expected and unexpected encounters with friends and strangers alike. Wisdom, love, and a desire for justice shared in tents, fields, and in every weather. The table of the Lord and our shared celebration of communion was as welcoming and inclusive as it was full of grace and solidarity. It’s hard to list the ways in which God was encountered from prayer to pints, dancing to drag, music to meditation, and so much more.

My first Greenbelt was a delight and I’ll certainly be back. Special thanks to @studentchristianmovement for the chance to volunteer and to @thecacollective for inviting me to speak on one of their panels. 💚

My submission journey to the @nationalportraitgallery Taylor Wessing Photo Portait Prize 2024

At the beginning of this year, I decided I wanted to start submitting my photography to different competitions. Although I did not win this time around with my first submission, I am still proud of passing the first stage and being selected for a second round from almost 5,000 submissions.

Now I am even more motivated to keep trying!
