I can't believe that it's been a year since I participated in NYSSMA Allstate. When I first auditioned, I had told myself that I wasn't going to get in because I didn't think I was good enough or worthy to be apart of it. But all of that worry vanished as soon as I stepped foot into Rochester. Being in the mixed chorus has changed my life in so many ways. It has allowed me to sing such amazing pieces and truly dig deep into the messages behind it, and it has allowed me to meet some of the most incredible and talented people I have ever met from across the state. Thank you to everyone who I got to meet along this journey. You guys are truly so kind and talented, and I can't wait to see where you guys end up. Thank you to my choir director for signing me up to do this, and for believing in me from the start. Finally, thank you to Dr. Andrea Ramsey for being an incredible conductor and for truly allowing all of us to be the best musicians we can be. This is truly one of the best moments of my life, and I'll never forget it! ☺️♥️

(Although I couldn't tag some people or get photos with everyone, just know that your interactions didn't go unnoticed, so thank you for taking the time to talk with me!)

(This is only part 1 of the Allstate post. Part 2 will be coming shortly)
