Uninterrupted conversation and connection were at the top of the list when this event was envisioned. And it happened.

Moms marked their calendars and made it out of the home to take a few hours for themselves to unwind, laugh, and connect uninterrupted.

Some women came solo and some met up with a friend or a few. There were three pregnant moms and one postpartum mom (six weeks!)…total stunners. The special moments throughout our time together was the warmth (literally and figuratively), the laughter, and the oh-so-sweet smiles on each of these women’s faces. When the evening came to a close, I overheard exchanges of contact information and asking one another if they’d be at the next mom walk or meet-up with @momtalksandwalks. 💕

These moms really took time away from everything and everyone to be refreshed and encouraged. I look forward to what this community will continue to be and the friendships that will form for each of their seasons of motherhood.

Mom Talks & Walks is a group for moms at every stage in motherhood to gather twice or more a month throughout the Conejo Valley (Ventura County) for mom walks and meet-ups. Since 2023, we continue to welcome, encourage, support, and walk alongside mothers for connection and community as we support our community through service projects and local business collaborations. Follow @momtalksandwalks and join us next time. If you’re not in the area, send me a message and I can hopefully connect you with another group in your area.

Oh 2016 Jules, you were quite the dangerous combination of immature and responsible. But I think you acted appropriately most of the time and you definitely had FUN.

The last good year of my 20s, and arguably the best. It was the era of the sideburns, mirror selfies 🤳🏽, Views on repeat 👀, the Cavs Championship 🏆, going to half the 143s possible 😘, Vegas multiple weekends 🍾… it was A TIME.
