📸 by Amy Cooper, Courtesy of the Wharton Center | A few weekends ago, I got the amazing privilege to participate in the 2026 Sutton Foster Awards, Celebrating Michigan High School Musical Theatre. 🎭❤️ Coming back to this experience after a year only made my love for it grow even more. I had the opportunity to work with Broadway professionals, spend two weekends doing what I love non-stop and meeting the kindest and most talented human beings from all over the state! For this and everything in between, I want to thank the entirety of the team at @whartoncenter for making this experience possible; Kelly Stuible-Clark, Ben English, Natalie Malotke, Jonathan Parks, Steven Cuevas, and Erin Olmscheid, just to name a few! Getting to perform my finalist solo selection on the Great Cobb Stage is something that I know I will never forget, and it couldn’t have been possible without all of the mentors who have helped me get to this point. Thank you to @terienoaeill2, @deannajoyf, @jack.aaustin, @briberning, Mr. Black, and everyone at @lakeview_masque for always supporting me in every way, and making me feel such pride with the outcome. A HUGE thank you to the one and only @hechtlailynn for coming along with me! Doing what you love with someone you love is something that can never be beat, I’m so glad to have done this with you! 🫶 Lastly, I want to thank my mom who has always been there by my side. Whether if it was setback and failure, or getting the chance to perform on one of Michigan’s biggest stages, she’s always been proud, but not as proud as I am to call her my mom. The Sutton Foster Awards is a gallery of memories I’ll never forget, and I know all of us will always have a special place for it in our hearts, no matter where the future takes us! #suttonfosterawards

I’m forever grateful for this opportunity and the connections I’ve made. These people are the most caring people I’ve ever met and it was so amazing getting to meet them.
