A Mini RACER X show actually happened in Seoul! 🇰🇷

PAUL GILBERT (@paulgilbert_official) + JEFF MARTIN (@jeffmartin69) 👍

It feels like I’m dreaming!! (Oct 18 (Sun), 2026 at Musinsa Garage, Seoul venue.)

I actually posted 10 days before the show, tagging Paul and Jeff hoping for a Mini RACER X reunion, and it really feels like a dream come true!! 💭

RACER X ‘Sacifice’ was performed in Seoul, South Korea for the very first time as full complete song👍 🇰🇷 It was an incredible ‘instrumental’ version during Paul Gilbert’s WROC Seoul, South Korea Tour! 🇰🇷

The moment I heard the intro to RACER X song ‘Sacrifice’ my heart started racing! ❤️ I absolutely didn’t expect this! The setlist was entirely new! I sang aling with the lyrics to ‘Sacrifice’ instrumental version.

RACER X has never performed in South Korea before, which makes this ‘Sacrifice’ stage even more monumental!

I still can’t forgot the exact moment I first heard ‘Sacrifice’ when I was 18. ‘Sacrifice’ is a song that I truly love 👍

RACER X ‘Scarified’ ‘Technical Difficulties’, ‘Godzilla’ plus Mr. Big 'My Kinda Woman' which is virtually RACER X’s ‘Mad at the World'! VIRTUALLY 5 RACER X song were also performed live in South Korea for the first time, with JEFF! Making it incredibly monumental 🇰🇷

Paul and Jeff whi first came to South Korea together for the 1999 ‘Flying Dog’ Korea tour across 3 cities, 🇰🇷 have finally returned to perform on Korean stage together after 27 years! Jeff Martin’s Drumming was absolutely amazing, too! 🥁👍

Timmer Blakely’s Bass playing was also incredible, that night! 🎸
Thank You Very Much!!! 🙏🙏🙏 Please come again to South Korea! 🇰🇷

O+C Projects You May Not Know About Day 11: Zavalaz

After the dissolution of The Mars Volta, Cedric struck out on his own with his solo band Zavalaz. We got one teaser on YouTube, a handful of shows, and that was it. Soon enough he’d be back working with Omar in Antemasque. It’s a shame we’ll probably never hear a studio version of this music because it’s incredible stuff. This song, “Unearthly Child,” is one of my favorite Cedric songs ever. He got really into his love of 70’s power pop, as they would later with Antemasque with a little harder edge, and it’s so, so good. This interest is where so much of the catchiness of their music comes from. I hear so much of that, including some Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe in this song. The chorus is so incredible. Also, we get to see Cedric playing guitar live, which is a rare treat. I hope one day he’ll just drop this stuff, because it’s some of the most affecting, personal music he’s ever written.

MADE TO ORDER. BUILT FOR YOUR RIG. 🌊

Every Tsunami cable is assembled and tested one at a time at the Tsunami Bench.

• The cable color
• The connector configuration

Whether it’s headed for the stage, studio, worship service or practice room, your cable should fit the way you actually use your gear—not the other way around.

So, what would YOU build?

Drop your color, length and connector setup in the comments. 👇

Straight or 90°—which plug are you running? 🌊

OPTION A: The straight ¼” plug
great for recessed inputs and easy to grip and unplug.

OPTION B: The 90° plug
keeps your cable close to your gear and is less likely to get bumped.

There’s no universal winner. It all depends on your instrument, your input and your setup.
Drop A or B in the comments-and tell us why it works for your rig!

Built at the Tsunami bench.
Made to make music. 🌊
This Great White cable setup
finished with a Tele 90 connector
Started with the details, found its place in the rig and made its way to the stage with the incredible Tony Grey!

That’s what our new series, FROM SEA TO STAGE, is all about: following the cable from the bench where it was built to the musicians and moments it was built for.

Because a cable shouldn’t just look good sitting on a workbench. It needs to perform when the lights come on!

Where will your cable take you next?
