Folks, we are back at it again for the holiday season!! For piece, I created a very short story first, and then I wrote the music (which includes some quotes from "A Christmas Carol" and "Tuck Everlasting"), which was based around this miniature tale. As the story goes, a homeless man is freezing on the street on Christmas Eve. Because he has been impoverished for so long, he believes that the world has forgotten him, and that his life has no meaning anymore. Before long, someone notices this man, and sits down to talk to him. After this passerby learns about the homeless man's predicament, he reminds him though magical visions that his life, in fact, DOES mean something and that he has immense potential to be someone great. Imbued with a sense of confidence and hope, the homeless man vows to create a future for himself. As for the passerby... he was Santa Claus. This is my first time writing a piece of music using this process, so I hope you all enjoy this little experiment for the Christmas season!

Here's the second of three videos from French Woods, today we have a section of the tune by Miles Davis called "Four". No piano solos today, but there is an AMAZING saxophone sole (group solo) as well as a wonderful trombone solo by @brandonlpapaleo. Enjoy the music! #jazz #music #musician #musicvideo #band #jazzmusic #piano #pianomusic #pianoplayer #musiclover
