It is better, I think, to grab at the stars than to sit flustered because you know you cannot reach them.

Meet Brother Jacob Dubois: A Legacy in the Making

What started at Cumberland University’s Nu Chapter became something much bigger—because of one brother’s vision.

After transferring to Belmont University, Brother Jacob Dubois saw the need for Sigma Chi on campus. Instead of letting the opportunity pass, he took action—recruiting the Alpha Pledge Class and laying the foundation for what would become a thriving brotherhood.

This weekend, that vision became reality as Belmont’s Mu Xi Chapter officially received its charter, welcoming 44 more brothers into the Zeta Pledge Class.

None of this would have been possible without Dubey’s initiative, leadership, and unwavering commitment to Sigma Chi. His legacy will live on for generations to come.

Great night well spent with @sigmachibelmont and sharing our testimonies on our experiences with being a brother. Our loyalty lies in our friends, new and old, and love supporting brothers even if they attend other universities. Let tonight be proof of what it means to be a sigma chi. In Hoc 💙💛

In 2022 I prayed for strength and growth. It was a year that really challenged and pushed me to stand up for myself, be more conscious of others feelings, and help other people at all times.
Good vibes ahead moving into 2023. So blessed to be surrounded by all of the people I love going into the new year!
