This is Walter and Daphne🐶Walter is the best big brother—he came along to support Daphne during her annual exam. The sweetest kind of moral support🩷 @j_k_carte

i feel like now a’days, especially since like 30 on, everyone kinda has their different and very separate pods of friends from all different parts or activities in their lives, and by choice, rarely shall those groups ever cross. but, honestly i think i’m done with that mentality because this last Saturday night reminded to only eff with the people who eff with you and forget the rest of ‘em period. life is way too short to lend any time on opps, haters, and petty beefs when all you really wanna do is create and share your art with the world, and whether that art is Music, Multi Media Design/Production, Content Creation, or Athletics, never stop honing your craft and surrounding yourself with the kind and creatively generous people who inspire you to find and reach your potential.

with that said i want to give a huge shout out to my Southend Rollerblade Fam for coming to see me perform in my “other natural habitat”. and everyone should go add them and support all of their very different and awesome endeavors.

• Corey: @dreaded_roller an 8 foot tall skater and legit lumberjack

• Lonnie: @kickpeople Skater/Video Producer/Business Owner and founder of @feetblading

• Derick: @drock153 Skater/DJ/Juijitsu Player

• Josh: @j_k_carte Skater/Traveler/Oscar Piastri Fan/Personally Responsible for bringing Tapestry Parachute Pants back.

you guys have no idea how much y’all actually surprised me, and how much that really really meant to me..
xoxo

Day 249: Made it out to the second half of WNS Fest after work today, so good to see everyone. I had every intention of hitting an after party, but once I got home, grabbed a bite, and showered… game over.

Day 235: After work the city opened up. The SLU Saturday Market was the first stop. Jamaican curry chicken with rice and peas. Jollof rice with chicken. The kind of food that reminds you why street markets matter more than any fine dining reservation.

Next came the Moore Theater. Josh Johnson held the stage and the crowd in his hands. Sharp and funny. The room was an oven. I wanted out but I was not leaving until the last joke landed.

Taz for matcha kept the night alive. Earthy, bitter, clean.
We finished at T-Mobile Park for Filipino Heritage Night. The game slipped away from the Mariners but the people and the energy carried the night. We never found our seats. We did not need to.
