I’m ashamed to admit this, but I think I have to say this is the biggest accomplishment of my life…

I FINISHED THE #BOISETRAILSCHALLENGE TODAY!!!!!!

Some people’s biggest accomplishment is law school (@stetson.holman), some is their successful business, owning a home, WHATEVER, but mine is signing up for something that was so far out of my comfort level, owning that bravery and sticking to my commitment, riding every day, and accomplishing my goal -- blood, tears and all.

The Boise Trails Challenge began on June 19th and athletes have until July 20th to complete all of the segments outlined in the challenge, 170 miles of trail and 23,500 feet of elevation. I started on June 24th (5 days late because of our wedding) and rode every single day until today with the exception of three rest days and JUST FINISHED. To get it all done, you have to ride trail segments that don’t count to get to certain ones that do. All in all I rode 263.23 miles and climbed 39,175 feet in elevation. It took me 51 hours, 48 minutes and 58 seconds of actual riding to complete it all. Including rests and commutes, I spent 78 hours, 50 minutes and 12 seconds on the Boise Trails Challenge.

I know I’m doing a lot of back-patting on Instagram lately and just want to say that this isn’t actually that cool. One guy did the entire challenge in 46 hours. I placed 69th (lol) among female bikers and 345th overall (out of 1200) -- so not that impressive. BUT it’s impressive for ME and what matters is that I reached my OWN goal, rode trails that I NEVER would have been brave enough to do on my own, pushed myself, lost weight, made new friends and did something that I honestly didn’t think was possible for myself to do and I’m SO proud of that and nothing can take that away.

Seriously so thankful for everyone who helped me, rode with me, encouraged me, shuttled me, etc (tagged in photo). Love you all. I do it for my fans (lol jk).

Now onto the next goal -- I’m skiing 100 days this year! Ok bye.

XOXO - Rach
