![#FlashbackFriday to the memorable moment when I had the honor of speaking with @7abcnews/@abcnews right after my FIRST @tedx_official talk in Rockville, MD.
I shared the profound impact of music and songwriting on my own emotional, mental, and neurological well-being, but I think it's also important to recognize the tremendous potential music and songwriting hold for today's Gen Z, offering invaluable benefits for their overall health and growth.
This is why I write music.
This is why I record, perform and release music.
This is why I coach teens to write their own music.
This is what it means [for me] to try and save world one song at a time.
Of course, I would have never imagined that - just over a year layer: I'd be delivering yet ANOTHER TEDx presentation. 🙌🏾
It truly is a blessing.](https://s4.imginn.com/501454992_1180334170538339_3453723549180824664_n.jpg?t51.71878-15/501454992_1180334170538339_3453723549180824664_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e15_p480x480_tt6&_nc_cat=102&ig_cache_key=MzE2MjAxMjMxNzQzNjQ2NjA5NA%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNMSVBTLnhwaWRzLjU0MC5zZHIudmlkZW9fZGVmYXVsdF9jb3Zlcl9mcmFtZS5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=qMNP0gu204MQ7kNvwETs-3O&_nc_oc=Ado-HBmECu0j4QInVREyLheKLLen7O0qsH9QAMAh6cLK0JSMU-Z6CPLAu9n3GOg0Y3o58k0LRNyDqpPwwzp-SWNd&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-3.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=aIli5zyUnH-l3G3DtOj7Ug&_nc_ss=7a20f&oh=00_AQNuXjYg12QBYshp6KyZhNVifp_tO_6rTmxh_yePhXXoYw&oe=6AE02779)
![Good morning, Wednesday!
I'm all about celebrating wins [if you're on my email list - you probably already know that], and today's win that I'm excited to announce is that I'm the newest addition to @valerieallenpr clientele!
Why is this exciting for me?
For as long as I can remember: I've been almost ADDICTED to my independence - to the point where I wanted to do EVERYTHING for myself. Which is fine. Really.
Until it's not.
I legitimately wrote a song about this: Together We Rise, because each and every one of us is a superhero [oh! There's another song title] that has superpowers unique to us... and part of thriving is in building a team that is dependable, reliable, and allows YOU to be the best you that you can be.
The added bonus? They can see things about you that you can't. They can honor you, and speak about you in ways that might even trigger your imposter syndrome a little bit.
Comment below who is in YOUR team - and if you want to join my team in a more *official* capacity: head to emmagmusic.info/emmagnation](https://s4.imginn.com/651273822_18071035361637285_6028900153806549186_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/651273822_18071035361637285_6028900153806549186_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p828x828_tt6&_nc_cat=100&ig_cache_key=MzE2MDUwMzU4MTgyODMyMjM1Ng%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNBUk9VU0VMX0lURU0ueHBpZHMuMTA3OS5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=Ofit-LfKQccQ7kNvwHZfXNp&_nc_oc=AdrKEDaI21y7dPaaHp-mHfbYdKno-m_9ZdQ9XBRShnmIqGwvRpjD1HbTI8Xpkx8DFz_d12wwJlRlpBiZBvY1gb2p&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-lga3-2.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=aIli5zyUnH-l3G3DtOj7Ug&_nc_ss=7a20f&oh=00_AQN_rrS0QnoaxDTuCtJy4BlnH4ptHgGqTJrxY3WsjuBOQw&oe=6AE02B2F)
