🔵 PLAYOFF BOUND 🔵

St. Andrew’s Baseball is headed to the GIAA State Playoffs for the first time since 2019. The Lions will travel to Tiftarea Academy for the 1st round on Friday, May 8th, with game one scheduled for 5:00 and game two to follow. This group has earned the opportunity to keep competing, and now the focus shifts to playing our best baseball when it matters most.

The 2026 season has been a major step forward for St. Andrew’s Baseball. After winning 3 games last season, the Lions finished the regular season 20–10, setting a new single-season wins record and recording the 1st 20-win season in program history. In the 1st season on the new turf field, this team helped establish a new standard for the program and gave the St. Andrew’s community a season to be proud of.

Offensively, the Lions have been productive throughout the year, finishing the regular season averaging 7.5 runs and 3.8 stolen bases per game, while carrying a .877 team OPS. Jack Kelley helped lead the way with 12 home runs, 35 RBI, 35 runs, and a 1.710 OPS. Ellis Kelley added a .431 average, .641 OBP, 44 runs, 22 RBI, and 22 stolen bases, while Jacob Navare posted a .417 average with 33 RBI. Isaac Wrieden, Wells Searcy, Darius Chapman, Xavier Wilcox, Lanford Harris, and others have all contributed to a lineup that has found ways to create pressure and produce runs.

On the mound, the Lions finished the regular season with a 3.50 team ERA across 188 innings. Ellis Kelley led the staff with 47 innings, 58 strikeouts, and a 2.83 ERA. Lanford Harris added 42.2 innings with a 1.80 ERA, while Jacob Navare went 5–0 with a 3.15 ERA and provided another steady presence on the mound. River Reeves, Isaac Wrieden, Wells Searcy, Jack Kelley, Brady Grant, and Xavier Wilcox have all helped give the Lions depth throughout the season. Defensively, the Lions have continued to make plays behind the pitching staff in big moments.

Thank you to the St. Andrew’s community for your support all season. We are proud to represent our school, our families, and everyone who has helped push this program forward. Keep supporting these players as they begin their playoff run.
