Carved by nature and wrapped in legend, Canal d’Amour is one of Corfu’s most mesmerising coastal wonders. ✨

Where exactly is Canal d’Amour located?
In the charming seaside village of Sidari, on the island’s northwest coast—about 40 minutes from Corfu Town and surrounded by golden cliffs, turquoise channels and relaxed summer vibes.

Why is it called Canal d’Amour?
Because of the island’s favourite myth: legend says that couples who swim through the narrow channel will stay in love forever, and those who enter single may soon meet their soulmate. 💙

What makes this spot so unique compared to other beaches?
The sculpted sandstone formations create natural passages, hidden coves and layered cliffs that look almost unreal. Every viewpoint feels like stepping into a painting shaped by wind, waves and time.

Is the area good for swimming?
Yes—especially on calm days. The water here is warm, clear and shallow, perfect for a relaxed dip or a gentle adventure through the natural channel.

What else is there to do around Sidari?
You’ll find beach bars, restaurants, boat trips, sea caves, coastal walks and lively nightlife. Sidari is also a great base for exploring the north coast, from Cape Drastis to Loggas Beach.

How do you reach Canal d’Amour?
You can drive, hire a scooter, book a transfer, or take a bus to Sidari. From the village center, it’s only a short walk to the cliffs—just follow the signs or the sound of the sea. 🚶‍♂️🌊

When is the best time to visit?
Early morning for quiet views and golden light, or late afternoon when the sandstone glows in soft sunset colours.

Why does everyone say Canal d’Amour feels “magical”?
Because it combines myth, nature and emotion—standing here, you don’t just see the beauty… you feel the story behind it.
