It's been almost a year since we said goodbye to Lilly. So now we're saying hello to Mabel! Such a cutie! Just got back from San Jose - she rode in the car like a dream. Special thanks to Maiya and Grig at @grand.miracle.kennel for helping to make our dreams come true! She is going to be one spoiled little princess! #chichuahua #chihuahuasofinstagram #dogsofinstagram

RIP LillyJo 10/09/08- 04/12/24. After my husky Ursa passed away in 2007 I vowed never to have another dog. Joseph came across Lilly in a file box with 6 other chihuahuas in the Castro in December 2008. We rescued her from the Tenderloin later that evening. From the get go she was a precious pup. While she was never a super fan of our Cat, she loved her little sister Xuxa. Yesterday we said goodbye. I am so grateful for Dr. Denise at @lapofloveveterinaryhospice for helping us to say goodbye in a gentle and compassionate way. She fell asleep in my arms surrounded by love. My heart is broken, but I know we did the right thing. I am grateful to @ja5696ursa for finding Lillykins all those years ago and bringing her into our lives. #chihuahua #chihuahuasofinstagram #chihuahualove

This little one is nearing the end of her time with us. She is blind, deaf, and starting to have more seizures that we can't control with meds. It's time. This breaks my heart. She's been our baby for 15.5 years. I have found that dogs can be one of the purest sources of unconditional love in this world. And I know that we have given her the best existence that a puppy could wish for. We have found a wonderful vet that's coming to the house on Friday. I just hope that Xuxa is waiting for her as she crosses the Rainbow Bridge. #chihuahua #chihuahuasofinstagram #chihuahualove

Bit of a rainy start for our Miami vacation but the views are still cool. Found a wonderful breakfast place and coffee shop and got back before the rain started.
