Another trip around the sun ✨ Feeling incredibly grateful for the people, moments, lessons, laughter, and love that filled this past year.

From Barry’s to brunch, and everything in between, here’s to a new year of saying yes to what matters, making more memories, laughing a lot, and appreciating all the good along the way.

Feeling very lucky and very loved. ❤️💫

The purpose movement serves in our lives is constantly evolving. Some days, it’s simply about getting a workout in before work. Other days, it’s where we go to release the physical and emotional weight we’ve been carrying. A place to feel stronger, quieter, more capable, or simply more like ourselves.

The instructors leading those rooms make that possible. They shape the atmosphere of a class, guide our attention for one hour, and create an environment where we’re able to be fully present.

They know when to push us further than we would push ourselves, when to make us laugh, when to remind us to breathe, and when to offer encouragement without saying much at all.

The hour eventually ends, but the intention often doesn’t. We leave standing a little taller, thinking a little clearer, carrying ourselves a little differently than when we walked in.

This post is a thank you to the instructors who have had an extraordinary impact on our community’s movement journeys. Thank you for the care, energy, and presence you bring into every class, and for reminding us that movement has always been about so much more than exercise. 🩷

4 years ago, I quit my full-time job and, on a whim, auditioned to be a [solidcore] coach.

As a dancer and someone who has always loved moving my body, I figured it was worth a shot. (I’m terrible at deciding what I want for dinner, but somehow when it comes to big life decisions, I’m wildly decisive.) 🤷🏼‍♀️

I submitted a silly little video of me jumping rope and somehow got invited to train as a coach. What I DID know was that I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. What I DIDN’T know was that it would change my life…for the better 🫧🌟

Over the last four years I’ve become stronger in ways that have nothing to do with my muscles. I’ve learned resilience, confidence, how to take up space, and how to keep showing up...even when things feel hard. I’ve had the privilege of coaching thousands of incredible humans and have been endlessly inspired by the people beside me on and off the machine!

Not to mention I’ve gotten to be ridiculously silly most of the time...theme classes, Taylor Swift dance parties, painting my face green, yelling “YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS!” at ungodly hours of the morning, and watching people surprise themselves every single day!🙌🏻

Four years later, I’m still here...stronger, softer, and still doing too much. Choosing to still say yes to the things that scare and excite me!

Funny how one silly little jump rope video can change your life.

Forever grateful. Forever stronger for it…forever glad I took that jump! 💙💪🏼🌟🫶🏻

I’ve said a lot of “see you laters” in my time at [solidcore]. To Dumbo. To FiDi. To New York. To New Jersey.

But this one will be the hardest.

This place shaped me, challenged me, and helped me become the leader I am today.

6 years, 7 months. Thousands of classes coached and taken. An embarrassing number of costumes worn. Countless clients and coworkers who became lifelong friends.

[solidcore] will always have a piece of my heart.

Thank you for the memories, the growth, the community, and the people who changed my life.

I’m stronger for it.

WINTER ❄️ My final season with Mamma Mia 🩵 I have so much gratitude for everything that Mamma Mia has given to me. The movie came out when I was 15 years old. It’s a movie that I return to when I need to feel inspired about life again. 15 year old Amy would be so proud 🥹 but I was never alone. To all the people who lifted me up through the good times and the bad, I love you ❤️ Anyway, now I’m crying. I need to go watch Mamma Mia 😉🩵🪩
