Birthday celebrations in full force 💃🏼🕺🏼

I’m definitely not one to let a birthday go by without making the most of it … next on the agenda was dinner with the fam 💕

started the night with bubbles and cake 🥂 took an obligatory mirror selfie with @carlapietersen then dined at @postandpepper 🫶🏼

I was so busy celebrating I didn’t take any pictures of the food which was divine 🙈

Welcome to our family, little Ziya. Your name means light and you have brought so much of it already into our home 🤍🐾

| JANUARY SKI | From blue skies to whiteouts - we had it all! Skis, snow, and Milla shredding it on the snowboard this time round. Happy Winter days. Hearts are full 🤍

| EXPLORING ISTANBUL | From the iconic Blue Mosque, getting haggled hard for tea, spices and turkish delight at the Spice Market to finally, my favourite, wondering the Vintage Streets of Balat. Istanbul did not disappoint!

| EXPLORING ISTANBUL | The Basilica Cistern. Built in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian as a giant water tank.

Looked for and so happy to find Medusa! Added bonus was to spot the pretty Weeping Column with its teardrop patterns 🇹🇷

Blind Gully ⛰️🌿

this is one for the memory books 🫶🏼 some serious type 2 fun 😅

7 hours later ⌛️lots of scrambling 🧗🏼‍♀️a few wrong turns 👀 looking like I’ve had an altercation with a mountain lion my legs are so scratched 🐆 near death experience after taking a wrong turn and scaling a ledge - then having to do it again 🙈 more scrambling 🧗picnic lunch 🥪 and eventually descending via Diagonal ✌🏼

Never a dull moment with this lot 🤩 @marcthecow6 your route suggestion was awesome! @jacabile keeping us on the straight and narrow 😂 @carlapietersen another “but did you die” experience to add to the survivor pile 😝

Last week Milla departed on Trek - 27 days and 360km of hiking, paddling and cycling. A journey of challenge, friendship and self-discovery. We couldn’t be prouder. Go well brave girl! 💙

proud aunt moment ✨ watched Milla playing in not just one …but two different bands on Friday eve 🫶🏼

was completely blown away by the level of talent, commitment and bravery 🔥 it takes a lot to get onto a stage in front of a huge crowd 🎸

what a blast 🧨

🌍 From Stellenbosch to Manchester 🌍
Redefining workspace flexibility one conference at a time!

I chose to attend GCUC UK in Manchester to connect with fellow flexible workspace operators 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 stay ahead of industry trends 📈 and gain insights💡into how better to serve the Workshack community! 🏛️🙌🏼

Manchester is a growing hub for innovation and its flexible workspace landscape resonates more closely with markets like ours — diverse, rapidly evolving, and grounded in community 🌿✨

What truly stood out for me at the event was the level of honesty and openness in the conversations 💛 Attendees shared real, sometimes messy, experiences about the challenges of hybrid work and the evolution of flexible work spaces 📝 It felt like a room full of peers rather than competitors, creating a space for collaboration and learning that’s hard to find

In my unbiased opinion 😉 Workshack really stood out in how we approach community: we focus on creating an environment that’s not just about desk space but about cultivating a sense of belonging and shared purpose 🌟 It’s not just about how the space looks, but about the people inside it ❤️

What insights did I gain? You’ll have to wait and see! 👀 🚀
