Last night, we closed My Fair Lady at the Putnam County Playhouse after a seven-show run. Eliza has always been a dream role of mine, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to tell her story of resilience, tenacity, gumption, tenderness, and love, alongside such a stellar cast and crew.
I am especially grateful to Kathi Elliott and Fawn Helmer for giving me the freedom to embody Eliza in the way that felt most authentic to me, and to my Higgins, David Johnson, without whom I never could have brought Eliza to life in the way I hoped to tell her story. Thank you for sparring with me, encouraging me, and being a dream scene partner. You are a gift.
TJ Tincher, I couldn’t have asked for a better friend in Pickering than you. Alan Skillern, you are the perfect Freddy; thank you for letting me shove you around the stage! And to “Dad,” Dr. John Mark Day, I’m so glad we got to share a stage together. You are wonderful!
Thank you, too, to the rest of the delightful, loving, and brilliant crew Matt Helmer and team, music director Kathryn West Dory, pianist Debi Prather, orchestra, choreographer Sarah Vawter, costumers Pat, Shelly Green McFadden and Diana J. Taylor VanMiddlesworth, and my cast. You were such a joy to work with. I’m so glad we got to do this together.
And to my incredible community who came out to see the show and helped us sell out the theater: thank you for your tears, laughter, support, and relentless love. ❤️
Production photos to come soon, but for now, here are a few backstage pictures.

This show was one of the best things to ever happen to me. There wasn’t a single person in the cast or crew that didn’t know what they were doing. I love this show and its people 🪻✨💜
