ICDC 2026!

The DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta gave me one of the best experiences I have had. I competed in School Based Enterprise-Retail and while I was not a finalist, I am proud of the work my partner Logan and I put in.

Last week was so much more than competing. I met people from around the world, learned from my competitors, and made a forever DECA family.

We made so many memories.
Exploring @georgiaaquarium and seeing the whale shark, walking through Centennial Olympic Park, visiting the College Football Hall of Fame, and stopping by World of Coca-Cola was so much fun! Then, the @braves game, the ferris wheel at SkyView Atlanta, rooftop at Ponce City Market, the @zooatl and lots of good food, made all the hard work worth it.

I am so grateful for our advisor Mrs. Fletcher and our chaperone Mr. Conrad for giving their time and energy to make this trip possible.

I am so so proud of our chapter!
Specifically, I’m proud of
@aitana.perezh and @jace.knoll12 for their SBE performance.
@coltenkuhl71 and @sophie_sheppard_ for bringing back ideas from the Thrive academy.
@damienbuckenberger for earning an award in his academy.
And @loganmattioda from her hard work in our SBE presentation!

I had so much fun, learned so much, and made memories I will never forget.

Thank you @ridgelinehs_deca, it has been an honor to serve you as president, and I am forever grateful for you.

ICDC in Atlanta, Georgia was one for the books! 🌟 Over five unforgettable days, our chapter learned, competed, and made lifelong memories. From the zoo, aquarium, Six Flags, College Football Hall of Fame, Braves game, and Coca Cola Museum to competing on the international level, every moment was full of energy and growth.

We’re so proud of Logan and Karsen in SBE Retail and Jace and Aitana in SBE Food for their strong performances! Shoutout to Damien for earning a recognition pin through Elevate Academy, and to Colton and Sophie for Thrive Academy. Your hard work truly represents our chapter. 💙

Thank you to Georgia DECA and the Omni Hotel for hosting, and to our advisor Taryn Fletcher and chaperone Bryan Conrad for their support. We’re so grateful for this experience. ICDC 2026, we will see you next year! ✨
