This is a lot more than just an event, it’s connection, joy, music, endorphins (and a fair bit of line dancing). It’s a place to shake your booty and have a damn good time doing it.

From the start our IG bio has read: “nice people dancing to good country music” (which, fun fact, originally comes from a play from the 80s) because that’s exactly what we wanted this to be: dancing, country music, and most of all - nice people! And y’all do not disappoint! Always showing up with an open mind, positive attitude, and a good pair of boots 🤠

We are so grateful to the people who come and make these events what they are and we hope to keep doin’ more and more of it!!

If you told me a year ago that this is what Gone Country would look like, I wouldn’t have believed you! It’s truly amazing what can happen in a year!

No matter where you are in the world, finding (or creating) a line dance community is so incredibly special! It’s a style of dance that is super inclusive and nurtures human connection. We are honored to have our own little line dance community here in Amsterdam and spreading quickly across NL. Beyond that - we can feel the connection with the other communities around the world thanks to social media!

As Ian Munsick says in the song we all love to dance to, “I see country everywhere”!

Milestones of Gone Country this year:
- July, Aug, Sept ‘25: Sold out (200 people) for all the first three shows
- Oct: Launched a Halloween version of the show & had our first viral video!
- Dec: Started hosting 2 shows per night @boomchicago
- Feb: First festival appearance at @c2cfestivalnl
- March: Launched the intermediate class
- April: First corporate event @nike
- May: Launched in Utrecht
- July: Started a beginner version of The Class, and the 1-Year Anniversary!

What’s coming for the rest of 2026?
- New cities! Already announced Rotterdam and Leiden (two more to be announced this month!)
- Another show in the planning for Utrecht!
- The second edition of the Halloween show

This is just the beginning! If all this can happen in a year, we can only imagine what’s in store… and we’ve got big plans. Thank you to everyone who has joined our events and contributed to all the good vibes! Y’all are the best!

Welcome to the show, y’all. Gone Country is officially in Utrecht and it was a killer first show!

Our next show at De Helling on June 27th is already sold out so we added an afternoon show incase you missed a chance to get tickets (link in bio).

Amsterdam, y’all ready for a new hobby? Come join our growing line dance community with our newest concept “The Class”.

Learn 3-5 dances per session, followed by an open dance session. You don’t need to be an expert but some dance/line dance experience is recommended.

If you’ve been to our beginner concept “The Party” a couple times and you’re ready for more, this is the class for you!
