my journey with cosmetology was a wild ride. i started school in october of 2024. i met a lot of great people that had helped me stay through the school. i’ve had a lot of ups and downs but im so proud of myself for finishing out school. cosmetology was definitely not something i saw in myself doing at all. i was not thinking about doing hair at all in high school but im so glad i stuck with it. there’s a lot of people i want to thank.
i want to thank God for my journey because He has a plan for me. i want to thank my core teacher lonnie and i want to thank emily. emily had made school so much more fun for me. i want to thank all my friends i met throughout school. i want to thank meg for taking me to school for my last couple of days. she has given me so much advice throughout my last months of school. i wouldn’t have finished school without her. i want to thank jess. jess omg she has been such a great person. she made me laugh when i had such bad days. she made everyone smile even when she had hard days. i want to thank bri and rob for giving me real life advice. they’ve helped me realize a lot of things aren’t as bad as they seem. i want to thank my parents for giving me a place to stay and taking me to school. i want to thank them for making me finish school. even though we had some problems with each other they still gave me a place to stay to finish out school. i want to thank myself. i’m thanking myself because i have been through a lot and i thank myself for pushing myself to finish. i want to thank myself for waking up everyday going to school even if i didn’t want to go. i want to thank myself for going through hard things. life sure as hell isn’t cupcake and rainbows and adulting is hard as hell but that’s life so i want to thank myself for keeping it
