Hello! We are Vega, a team of three assigned females at birth that were continuously let down by women’s apparel in the outdoor industry. We decided to take matters into our own hands and create apparel that prioritizes performance, fit and aesthetic with no compromise.

Meet the Lyra pant, designed for hiking, biking, climbing and everyday life. The Lyra pant is still in its prototyping phase, and we hope to use this account to keep you lovely people updated with our projects and hopefully soon get these pants on YOUR BOOTIES! Stay tuned! 🌟💕

So far, 2026 has been about restoring my faith in humanity and finding gratitude in my daily life. If you want to hear about my journey you can read on, if not I understand :)

I am trying to look for at least one thing a day that restores my faith in humanity and brings me gratitude. It seems a shame to keep it all to myself, so thought I’d share it with you all.

I have learned that life is a precious gift, and that it is easy to take for granted. There is a lot going on in my life, and in the world that’s out of my control. It’s easy to forget that the only guarantee is that I will die, and it’s up to me to choose how I want to spend each day of my life. I choose to be grateful for the little things within my control.

I am incredibly grateful for my support systems: my family, friends, educators, community members, and healthcare providers. In a world full of individualism, physical pain, and tragedy, you all make connection, health, and happiness possible for me!

I am grateful for the resources that keep me alive: the clean air, water, and food that I have, as well as shelter and safety! Unfortunately, so many people lack access to these physiological needs. It’s not just or fair, and it breaks my heart.

Finally, I am tremendously grateful for the extra things that fill up my cup. The fate of the world feels pretty scary and serious right now. Some of the things that remind me that life isn’t so serious are: jokes (yes, unfortunately that includes 67 jokes), art, music, tattoos, reading, skiing, climbing, spending time in nature, observing/caring for animals, ¿bowling?, and of course hugs!

I am so incredibly privileged, and I hope for nothing more than for others to receive the support, resources, and joy that I have. I have dedicated a lot of my life to helping others accomplish that. Right now this feels like a start.

Two of my New Year’s resolutions were honesty and vulnerability, and this is the result. Maybe if I share a bit of my personal experience and learnings, others will feel inspired to share too.

If you’ve read this far, thank you, I’m grateful for you. What are you grateful for?
