This one stings. I can’t even begin to express my feelings for this sport. Football hasn’t just given me a team, but rather a second family. I’m very thankful to be a member of this community and even more grateful to have the support of it as well. Thank you to everyone who has ever came to a game for showing up and supporting. Thank you to the parents who always had my back. Thank you to all my coaches who had faith in me, and thank you to all the opposing coaches who didn’t. A special thank you to all of my teammates past and present who have been with me every step of the way. As i sit and write this post on my 18th birthday, I can’t help but feel both extremely happy, but also guilty. Guilty we couldn’t get it done. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later. #50 out

For 13 years, every year I have put on a helmet with a band of brothers with one goal. And for that to be taken from me in such a way hurts more than I thought it would. It was our last game on our field on my 18th birthday and we couldn’t get the job done. I will forever regret 1 singular thing about football. I wish I would have had a season like this one all 13 years. The bonds I have made with my team this year are like anything I’ve ever had. I can’t see Jace, Easton, B, Grant, Bolin, Tubby,Jack, or anyone else on that team as friends anymore. They are a family I just wish I had more time with. A family I will forever hold close to my heart. #66 was just a number to everyone else in the community but turning this jersey in I feel like losing a part of me I shouldn’t be losing this early. I will forever be grateful to the game of football for every snap, down, and memory this game has given. Forever #66 is out. Thank you

where do i even start…

from all the summer workouts to the team brotherhood we had it was perfect. all being together since we were five we had never thought it would come to an end and here we are. i would give anything up to get one more game even a practice with these guys. the bond we had together was special and i wouldn’t want it to be with anyone else i love these guys and this team will always have a special place in my heart. none of us wanted it to end like this but i loved every second🧡🫡
