It's a fact. It's UN-DISPOOTABLE!

Frog and Toad, I miss you every single day. As someone who fell in love with theatre as a child watching a TYA show, I truly felt blessed to have such a full circle moment in my college career. Thank you to every single person who made this show such a joy to put on. I love you dearly, and especially you, Turtle.🐢

Goodbye Sophomore Year :)

I’ve been procrastinating this post because I’m still too emotional but here it is! I graduated!

Thank you IWU and SoTA for some of the best years of my life. I can hardly recognize the girl who stepped into McPherson for the first time with no confidence or plans for the future. Now I stand here 4 years later full of love, joy, and memories that will carry me into the next phase of my life. Thank you to my peers for teaching me, encouraging me, and laughing with me. Thank you to my family for moving me in and out of dorms even though I was never fully packed in time. Thank you to my professors for forming me into the artist I am today. And thank you @ittimmytime and @gabby.rosen14 for planning the best surprise a girl could ask for! I love you all!

More sappy senior posts to come, I promise!

8/8: Got the job done!
After a few days of reflection, I feel like I have found the words to sum up my final semester at Illinois Wesleyan University. It may be a cliche, but these past four years went by quick! Although this semester in particular provided the challenge of having low motivation, I managed to come out with a degree! Spring semester of senior year is no joke, I wondered what the point of doing anything was. But now I can say that all of the hard work has paid off. I couldn’t be more proud of myself for pushing through until the very end. I definitely do not wish to bring back any of the homework assignments, but I will always wish for one more minute laying out on the beautiful quad, one more outing for coffee downtown, another evening eating at a new restaurant, and most of all one more moment with the people I am lucky enough to call my dear friends. The person I came to IWU as is completely different to the person that crossed the stage this past Sunday. I have grown as a human, learned as an artist, and found my people in this crazy thing called life. I could continue to ramble on about my gratitude, my struggles, my experiences, and my accomplishments these past four years, but if you have made it this far I am sure you get the idea.

To my fellow classmates, I will never forget our many memories together. I am immensely proud of each of us and cannot wait to see where we all end up. This is not goodbye, this is just see you later. Thank you for everything, I could not have done these past four years without you. 💚
