Some coaching lessons stick with you long after you leave the pool deck. ā  ā  After years of swimming for Jack Bauerle, and now getting to work alongside him, Iā€™ve picked up a few lessons that have completely shaped the way I think about coaching.ā  ā  From putting athletes under pressure *before* race day, to finding the balance between being accessible and maintaining authority, Jackā€™s approach is always tied back to one thing: preparing athletes for when it matters!ā  ā  I broke down 5 of the biggest swim coaching lessons Iā€™ve learned from Jack Bauerle in our newest blog with the link in bio.ā  ā  And if reading them leaves you wishing you could pick Jackā€™s brain yourselfā€¦ you might want to take a look at our pinned post. šŸ˜‰ā  ā  #swimcoach #swimcoaching #coachingtips #swimmingcoach #swimtraining #competitiveswimming #swimming #swimteam #swimtips #swimmingeducationā

Yesterday felt like a UGA Swimming reunion! ā¤ļøšŸ–¤ So many of us came together to celebrate our fellow Dawgs Matt Buck, Keegan Walkley and Laura Conway as they were inducted into the Georgia Aquatics Hall of Fame. It was so good catching up, sharing memories and celebrating three people who have made their mark on Georgia aquatics and at UGA. I was inducted back in 2014, so I can officially sayā€¦ congratulations and welcome to the club! šŸ† Go Dawgs! ā¤ļøšŸ–¤
