This weekend in Exeter, New Hampshire, marked a milestone for Better Together as we spent a special afternoon with Phillips Exeter Academy Boys and Girls lacrosse teams - and what an inspiring day it was!

Our Better Together mentors, many of whom are proud Exeter alumni, showed up with heart, honesty, and wisdom. They shared their lived experiences from their own journeys: what it felt like to be a high school athlete, the realities of the recruiting process, and the transition into college as student‑athletes. Their reflections were real, generous, and deeply resonant for Exeter’s current athletes.

We couldn’t be prouder of this group:

• Caroline Shu - Brown
• Grace Benson - Columbia
• Kate Mautz - Bowdoin
• Rosemary McIlroy- Bryant
• Huck Trafton - Bowdoin
• Grady Taylor - Cornell
• Jack Calichman - Hamilton
• Will Fuller - Princeton

Thank you to Phillips Exeter Academy for your collaboration, and commitment to elevating athlete wellbeing. We’re energized by what’s ahead and honored to bring our mentors’ voices and our mission directly to your student‑athletes.
