He got his 50K and he’s officially an Ultra Marathoner!!

Jackson had two goals going into A Louisiana Summer Night: stay on his feet for the full 10-Hour Challenge or at least make it to 50K. He ran from 8 p.m. until 4:30 a.m., heat, humidity, and even a little rain along the way. He was just a few hours short of the 10-hour challenge, but what he accomplished is incredible.

Will he be back next year to try again? Who knows, Jackson always surprises us, but let the pain wear off before we decide that one!! Even with blistered feet, he still had a smile every time he checked in. So proud of his, determination.

After a season of hard work and determination, and his big brother’s guidance @__alex.s___ Jack finished as STATE RUNNER-UP in the 800m 🥈

He made it his goal this year to make State and medal in the 800m, and once Jackson sets his mind to something, he’s going to make it happen.

The State Track Meet was last week, and even though I’m late posting, I couldn’t not say how proud we are of Jackson ❤️
