We are buzzing to say Basement Heat is out on Friday!

Firstly we need to say a huge thanks to @mistajam and @mistajamreacts you showcased this tune cause you saw potential and we love you for it!

You are truly the best! ❤️

Hopefully we get to hear Basement Heat on Capital Dance in the future!

The support online has been wicked! Massively appreciated 🔥

This showcase led to us getting a call from the legend @roger_de_graaf @fluentrecords and the record being signed!

The past year has been an absolute whirlwind of new beginnings, sad goodbyes, and generally the bizarre feeling you get in your mid thirties when you just know you’ve shed ya skin 🐍

(…and without fully realising it, started morphing into the woman you always wanted to be)

Truly - the fact that my darling Dad never got to see all these amazing things happening for me, or to meet Jack who he would have loved, despite him supporting Chelsea and not my old man’s beloved Man United (in fact we even had him cremated with the Red Devils Man Utd teddy bear we got him as kids, which had pride of place in his kitchen, in the coffin 😆💀🫶🏻 soz TMI 😆), or that he won’t be at our wedding next year, will never walk me down the aisle or meet his future grandchildren… has been a source of great sadness for me the last year in particular.

But if there’s one thing I am, it’s a stubbornly lifelong optimist.

There’s beautiful moments everywhere, you’ve just gotta stop complaining long enough to notice ‘em 💪🏻💋
