2024, the year of sacred wandering and profound lessons.

I bow in gratitude for the wisdom you have imparted. Through the many paths I have walked and skies I have soared, you have whispered truths of resilience, unity, and the ever-unfolding journey of the soul. Your winds carried me across oceans, to distant lands, and into the depths of my being, reminding me always of the sacred connection between myself, the earth, and the divine.

You taught me to honor the footsteps of my ancestors, to see their strength reflected in my own, and to find purpose in each encounter, each challenge, and each moment of stillness. The miles traveled, the faces seen, and the places touched are all threads in the great tapestry you have woven for me.

And now, I turn to you, 2025, and humbly invite your presence. Come bearing new lessons, new horizons, and new opportunities for growth. May you guide me further along this path of service, adventure, and unity, and may the seeds planted in this year bear fruit in the next. Together, let us walk with intention and purpose, grounded in gratitude and open to the infinite.

Asé🤲🏾

#TrueFLOstory @rebeccadupas SALUTE. It's funny how the world revolves. I remember the numerous talks she & I had up & through her feature. See you again soon Queen (2025-26)😉.

Hilarious how life works. Advance notice for all future megaFLO's to be & continued, to the numerous ongoing messages I CONTINUE to receive saying, "You should bring super poet/spokenword artist DR. DUPAS to a megaFLO in the future!" LOL, I DID... just this past Summer. I post & share just as much or MORE than anyone on planet earth when it comes to my megaFLO upcoming events. Simply put, I can't lie or will ever pretend like I ever miss a beat on how I support & inform the masses on the dopeness we have officially coming to our platform. I research heavily before we close on headliner bookings. I pray you all (that missed out) catch her the next time she makes it back with us in the future.

SHE'LL BE BACK.

Until then, enjoy a snippet of a poem that was a part of her incredible full set that set a FULL HOUSE of #FLOnatic 's on fire ***SAT 7/13/24***🤷🏿‍♂️💯.

Hope everyone can make our historic "10 YEAR MEGAFLO CELEBRATION" when headliner @diapermoney & a super story cast unite epically chase another 10 YEARS...

P.S. He did the same thing 5 years ago - ENERGY 1 OF A KIND.

Don't say I didn't tell you all. #getyourtixEARLY ... Less than 50% of the options are left. See everyone in 38 days.

BE READY.

*1️⃣9️⃣9️⃣7️⃣ - I graduated from Nova High @ the world famous BCPA. That same night after graduation, I told Ms. Caroline [RIP/H 1958-2021], "I'll be back here to FLO' 1 day after my NFL dream run momma... I promise..."

*2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣5️⃣ - I returned to produce the very 1st megaFLO EVER at the BCPA. A dream opportunity given by Pablo U. & Kerry M.. Forever grateful to you both for believing. Due to health challenges, it was also the final time my mother would ever see me perform...

*2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣ - Historic Broward Center CEO, Kelly Shanley (1999-2024), surprised me by coming out to support my latest megaFLO in pursuit of beyond. What an honor. He could've been anywhere else in the world.

*1️⃣/4️⃣/2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣🗓SATURDAY 630PM...
I'll reunite with the #flonatics to celebrate being the very 1st human EVER to reach a DECADE of professional poetry/spokenword/live entertainment productions at the world famous @browardcenter & counting.

Talk about a dream run come true for a kid that grew up just a few miles away that used to take field trips to this same special place in S. FL to watch major artistic shows. Wow, God has been so wonderful to me on this rollercoaster of LIFE.

See everyone in only 42 days from tonight when we FLO'etically reset the history bar. #BEREADY

🎙 #FLObackThursday #FLObackToTheFuture

With only 51 days away & an estimate of only an early record remaining 50% of the ticketmaster options remaining, there is no more perfect time to reintroduce (after he rocked S. Florida 7 years ago) "The 10 YEAR MEGAFLO CELEBRATION" headliner - The one & only poetic phenom #DeveryBroox ...

⚠️Don't say we didn't tell everyone in depth accordingly EARLY...

*1st EVER dual megaFLO returning headliner in megaFLO history ( #flopocalypse 2018, #ANNIFLOETRY #A25 2025).

*Multi-talented artist who combines spoken-word poetry and musicianship to inspire fresh perspectives, provoke meaningful change, and plant seeds of hope.

*Known for his edgy, comedic flair, Broox creates a safe space for audiences to explore challenging topics and question conventional viewpoints.

*A United States Navy veteran, he founded the popular Orlando open-mic series Touch The Mic Thursdays in 2010, which held the title of Central Florida’s #1 open-mic event for over a decade. Its influence can still be felt across poetry events throughout Florida today.

*In 2018, he won Poetry in the Gardens, further solidifying his impact as a universal poet and prolific performer.

*Broox’s work is known for its complex, witty style, often exploring themes of social justice, Black history, and cultural identity. As a father of five, he draws deeply from his own life, bringing authenticity to every performance.

*Broox brings passion and purpose to every performance, leaving audiences inspired and eager to come back for more.

It took over a year to select from the many poetry & spokenword professionals who would return as the decade impacting historic FLO'case for this 10 year celebration. It was the hardest selection process of all previous 24 annual events, but I'm very happy to announce the NEW story lineup that will kick off 2025:

Have you ever put all your heart into something to then be told…

NO! Stop. ✋🏽🛑😭

Well… We’ve been trying to figure out permitting for events since August of this year.

It’s made us go a bit more quiet to be focused on anchoring into my inner peace, trusting, and reaching out for advice and support.

Fortunately, we are clear that we CAN rent out the whole forest/property for retreats! ✅

We will be opening sales for 2024 very soon. 🎉

Let us know if you want to be the first to have access to dates.

Thank you to all friends and community who keep the magic of the Florrest alive and expanding.

We’ll keep figuring out how to activate events to be close to our community.

Happy 11/11!! All is aligned.

Much love,
Mena

By @mikeyfietta
I asked Mike to make this piece back when he was showing off all of his other pieces. I love the colors and abstractness of it and when I look at it, I see something different every time. Was very glad to pick it up today!
