Leadership is more than holding a title. It is how we listen, how we serve, how we bring others with us and how we help the next person grow.

Through our final lens, Southeastern Regional Teen President Aiden Woods reflects on the spaces that shape young leaders and the responsibility that comes with being given opportunities to lead.

Carole Robertson’s life reminds us that young people are always becoming — building confidence, accepting responsibility and discovering how their gifts can serve something larger than themselves.

For Jack and Jill Teens, leadership means using those opportunities with purpose and making sure the path is stronger for whoever comes next.

The measure of leadership is not only how far you go, but who grows because you were there. #thepowerofus

Through Lens 6: Athletics, South Central Regional Teen President Aiden Ray reflects on how practice, consistency and teamwork shape not only performance, but character.

For Jack and Jill Teens, the lesson extends beyond athletics: use what you are learning to lead well, uplift others and strengthen the communities around you.

What we build in young people today becomes what they give back tomorrow — #ForAllChildren.

Before Carole Robertson became part of history, she was part of a family.

A daughter. A sister. A young girl surrounded by people who poured into her and loved her.

Through the Family lens, Mid-Western Regional Teen President Korinne Lavergne reflects on what it means to show up for the people closest to us.

In 1963 Birmingham, racism was explicit, legalized and violently enforced. The bombing of 16th Street Baptist Church was part of that reality.

Sixty-three years later, the laws have changed, but the work is not finished. Inequity can be harder to see, history can still be challenged or erased, and each generation has a responsibility to recognize what remains and protect the progress that came before us.

Through the Then / Now lens, Mid-Atlantic Regional Teen President Bennett Askew reflects on what it means to inherit that history and carry its lessons forward.

Carole Robertson’s life reminds us that young people do not have to wait for adulthood to matter.

Through the lens of service, Far West Regional Teen President Kamryn Levy reflects on how community, responsibility and participation shape the kind of leader you become.

See the need. Show up. Leave it stronger.

Faith is more than what we believe. It shapes how we move, how we serve and what we choose to do with the opportunities before us.

Eastern Region RTP Cassidy Chisolm reflects on Carole Robertson through the lens of faith, considering the values and purpose that shaped her life and the responsibility young people carry today to use their own gifts intentionally.

As we continue to remember her, we also reflect on what her legacy asks of us.

How are your values reflected in the way you lead, serve and show up for others?

We begin with Legacy.

Carole Robertson was 14 years old when her life was taken in the bombing of Birmingham’s 16th Street Baptist Church. She was a daughter, sister, friend, student and Jack and Jill Teen with a future still unfolding.

More than six decades later, her name still carries weight.

Today, we remember Carole Robertson, Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley and Denise McNair, and all those whose lives were forever changed by the bombing of Birmingham’s 16th Street Baptist Church.

Carole was 14 years old, a Jack and Jill Teen, and so much more than the tragedy that took her life. Through the voices of our seven Regional Teen Presidents, we are reflecting on her life through seven different lenses and considering how her story continues to speak to young people today.

From family and faith to service, leadership and legacy, each perspective gives us another opportunity to remember Carole not only for how she died, but for how she lived.

We remember. We reflect. We carry her legacy forward.
