Words can’t describe how happy I am to have been a part of Westbrook tennis for the past 4 years. In this time, I have been able to accomplish 2 team shoreline championships, 1 team state runner-ups, 2 team undefeated seasons, 3 individual undefeated seasons, 3 First Team All Shoreline awards, 2 team MVPs, selected as a finalist for gametimeCT player of the week, Harbor News sports person of the week, 2022 Top 12 Tennis players to watch in Connecticut, named Junior and Senior captain, along with qualifying to play in the state open and receiving All State-Honorable Mention. All of these accomplishments couldn’t be possible without my coaches, family, friends and teammates. Thank you to my mom for making me try tennis freshman year and pick up the racket for the first time to embrace on this astonishing journey. I’m leaving the court with a regular season record of 66-5 and an overall record of 84-11, thank you to everyone who supported me on this journey. As Roger Federer once said, ”I fear no one, but respect everyone.”
