Every client needs a strategy.

And no, I don’t mean a giant document that gets written once and then forgotten about.

Every client is different. Different ambitions, strengths, audiences, opportunities and long term goals. So their strategy needs to be different too.

When I sign a new client, we look at where they want to be in 1, 5 and 10 years, and from there I build a roadmap that gives us a framework for the decisions we make together.

It evolves, it changes and sometimes we completely rethink things. But having that framework means we’re building a career rather than just reacting to whatever opportunity lands in our inbox.

I revisit strategy with clients throughout the year and formally regroup on it at least every 6 months.

Because for me, being an agent isn’t just about finding opportunities.

It’s about knowing why we’re pursuing them.

And otherwise… aren’t we just a glorified concierge service? 👀
