@zeromotorcycles : This Future was all about match cuts, specifically the ones in motion- lining up proper speeds of shooting bikes or wheels maybe made the crew scratch their head- but the sequences hit.
I love this script: I wrote it right before the last election and everyone was loosing their mind online. I think it’s enhanced the relevancy, technology is an amazing a scary thing- but I like to think about the potential unlocks other than the insane restrictions. The freedom and dream that it can break the chains from- other than observable policing and control.
In Zero’s case two wheel freedom means options for the people. Call me an idealist.

I recently wrapped up 5 intense and rewarding years with the Zero Motorcycles Design Studio. Being a small, scrappy team, the pressure could run high, but it also gave me the opportunity to make big impacts and collaborate with every department in the company. I’m very grateful to everyone who took the time to share their expertise along the way - it’s made me a better designer, and that doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

I’m proud of all the new platforms and concepts I had the opportunity to develop. It feels like a crime that some may never see the light of day after all the effort and passion the team put into them, but hopefully you’ll get to see a portion of that work soon.

Getting to work in this industry, in this area, is so damn special. I’ll miss mentally resetting with the team over long lunch rides through the redwoods and the camaraderie in the pits at race weekends in the desert.

I feel very fortunate to have been part of the Zero story, and I look forward to seeing how they evolve and continue as an enduring force in such a tough industry. Thanks to everyone who made the experience a career highlight for me. I’m excited to start shaping what’s next.
