Now that time is finally here. We are wishing this crew and all of the ETS college athletes luck as they take on their respective seasons. Have confidence in the work you put in this summer 💪

Why does exercise selection, sets & reps, tempo, plane of motion, etc. matter?

At ETS, almost 90% of our athletes train year round. With that, it’s important to begin with the end in mind and know what we are training for. Some athletes don’t have a true off-season. Some have 3 months in an off-season mode. The important thing is that we build the athlete’s strength, resiliency, speed, endurance, etc. at an appropriate rate to limit soreness before competitions but still challenge them to grow in each of those areas.

In order to best do this, it’s important to understand the demands of the sport(s) being played by the athlete. It’s also extremely important that the athlete can effectively communicate their schedule so we put the best plan together based on what they have going on outside of the gym.

Our Annual Alumni Tournament brought back nine graduating classes spanning 2011–2025, an incredible representation of what this program means to those involved in it.

Once a Maroon, always a Maroon.

Congrats to the Class of 2024 for taking home the hardware.
