And that's not your fault...
We spend so much time trying to convince people to choose us.

Changing our shade a little, dimming oureselves down or brightening oureselves up hoping that this time, we will be enough.

But some people just want green. And no matter how stunning your blue is, it's never going to be what they're looking for.

Not because you're not beautiful, not because you're not enough, just because you're not what they want.

And the sooner you stop trying to be a color you're not, the sooner the right person finds you because somewhere out there is someone whose entire world has been missing exactly your shade of blue.

Someone who doesn't need you to be anything different. Someone who looks at you and just thinks: "Yeah, that's my color".

But you'll never find them if you're busy twisting yourself into green.

Be the most unapologetic shade of blue you can be. The right person won't need to be convinced.

Nous passons tellement de temps à essayer de convaincre les autres de nous choisir.
À modifier légèrement notre couleur, à nous atténuer ou à nous rendre plus éclatants, en espérant que, cette fois, nous serons enfin suffisants.

Mais certaines personnes cherchent simplement du vert.
Et peu importe à quel point ton bleu est magnifique, il ne sera jamais ce qu'elles recherchent.

Non pas parce que tu n'es pas beau. Non pas parce que tu n'es pas assez. Simplement parce que tu n'es pas ce dont elles ont besoin.

Et plus vite tu cesseras d'essayer d'être une couleur qui n'est pas la tienne, plus vite la bonne personne te trouvera.
Car quelque part, quelqu'un attend précisément cette nuance de bleu qui manque à son monde.

Quelqu'un qui n'aura pas besoin que tu sois différent. Quelqu'un qui te regardera simplement en se disant :
« Oui… c'est exactement ma couleur. »

Mais tu ne rencontreras jamais cette personne si tu passes ton temps à essayer de devenir vert.
Sois, sans t'excuser, la plus authentique nuance de bleu que tu puisses être.

La bonne personne n'aura jamais besoin d'être convaincue.

21 years of life and i finally can say i can digress. All my life i have been chasing a type of feeling that has never been fulfilled. i have been given chances after chances and now i think i have learned where my heart, mind, body, and soul have led me to. its lead me straight back to my roots of family, friends, purpose, religion, and future goals. there is nothing that immediately stands out, but if i were to use my experiences and exposure to this world it would be that you must treat anyone and everyone with the upmost respect, endure times that are hard and prosper for better, and lastly surround yourself with human beings that love you for you being you. i cant thank my friend will enough for how much he has taught me in this life and i will forever cherish our friendship. a relationship like this can only bring you up and help you discover what impossibilities are possible. #blessed #theworldisyours #loveandpeace
