It was a wild week before launch and it's only getting wilder!! Events in 3 cities this week and next!

I went to my hometown of Chicago to tape some morning TV and Chicago Tonight with @brandisfriedman.

@itsafronomics The Double Tax arrived!

Then it was NYC to tape @totallybookedwithzibby, sign some books, and get to meet @susanorlean 😍

Capped off by an incredible pre-launch vision-boarding event with old friends and new at the beautiful @recessgrove arts space!

The cutest faces ever were holding down the fort back home.

Happy mother's day to all the moms out there, and all those yearning to be so, or reconciling with a different path than they expected. My path as a mom started a long time ago, when I became a step-mom to a wonderful now young adult. Then came baby K. Then... a journey. A desire for a second baby. A lot of doubt and uncertainty. And, 8 years later, baby H, who arrived Tuesday, after starting the process to freeze embryos two years ago.

Her middle name is 天使 Tianxi, meaning angel, in honor of my Cantonese half. But, @jacklucyfm and I chose it because the two characters mean Heaven and Send, and she's our gift from the universe--the dream baby neither of us thought we would get to have. Gonna do a newsletter soon on egg and embryo freezing, and the graph (fourth picture) I wish I'd seen earlier! #HavingItAll (?) #HappyMothersDay !

✨Day Three ✨

Our second studio day, things got a bit more musical. @gmproduction & co. did a microphone shoot-out to find the best fit for each of the ladies. We tracked drums, hand percussion and @jacklucyfm came through with acoustic guitar.
